Why, why, why do providers, regardless of their type of service or the site they use to advertise, fail to put their hours of operation in the ad? If the phone keeps ringing is it because she has turned it off for the night, or am I disturbing someone else's appointment? I don't want to be waking anyone up, be it 2AM or 10AM. Life would be so much easier if they would provide that information.

I envy you fellows who seem to be able to predict your need for 'companionship' and schedule ahead. I've found this sort of activity amplifies my mood. If I'm in a good mood, it becomes a great mood. If I'm in a bad mood, it gets that much darker. This means scheduling ahead, even to the extent of doing my research and writing down a number "I'll call her day after tomorrow" is often a waste of time. Then those nights I do want to go out, the list of available girls changes so frequently, I miss my window of opportunity, because checking the EROS / BP / another site / Here listings just takes too much time, and then it is late and no one is answering the phone, see above.

It would be so much nicer if we could do this openly, instead of having to hide in the shadows, and cloak our intent in innuendo and double entendre. The two main causes of disappointment and not getting what you expect, if not outright rip offs and dishonest dealings. Damn our Puritan forebears.

Trafficking my ass. A woman with a paid off house, and paying for her kid's college, is not the one being exploited.

On that note, I have more than once seen a girl advertising, and in the first pictures she uses she is tired, worn out, skinny in the sense of not having had enough to eat and in spite of obvious effort to spruce up a bit, looks somewhat unkempt. Three or four months later her new pictures show someone who has filled out and no longer looks like she is starving, their skin and hair has a new lustre, they are well groomed, wearing decent if not expensive clothes instead of ratty old stuff, and the pictures are taken in a nice apartment or hotel instead of a roach motel. Do-gooders be damned, sex work probably saved her life.

Once upon a time I was willing to drive to Waldorf, or Towson, or other far off places for even a rumor of an above average offering. These days my schedule is constrained beyond my control, and that keeps me close to home, but even when I have time I look at Owings Mill, Dupont Circle, hell even BWI as being too far to go. WTH happened to me?

I can't say I've never done street girls. But that was a different time. Hell, sometimes it was worth making the drive down to 14 & L St in DC just to _window shop_ all the hot ladies showing their wares. As best I can tell there are no longer street walkers, they are all just drug working girls. Any one without a habit, (and I suppose those with one that hasn't gotten out of control) and a brain can see that BP or similar is a much safer and saner way to do business. Under current conditions, I can't really see myself ever doing a street girl again.

Oof. Scratching an iceberg I guess, but I suppose venting means a few ice cubes worth of frustration and annoyance has been offloaded.

I can never predict my mood. When I want my knob polished, that is when I want my knob polished. That is why I got out of the Incall / Outcall game. Only place I have ever been were I can walk up to a bar, sit on the stool, order a beer and get a CBJ while I enjoy it without leaving the stool. The DevilsDen in Pattaya is the best time you can have for 150.00 US. I had my dick in the ass of a chick who wore a strap-on that was in the ass of another chick. * She has become very popular. Phone goes straight to voice mail. Eventually you do get through and she's booked solid further out than you can schedule.

* She has become so popular, she has raised her rates to the stratosphere (good on her, smart business move). I'm not as much of a cheapskate as many people here seem to be, but neither can I afford the $ $ $ and $ $ $ $ encounters terribly often.

* You get through and see her, but the sudden popularity has taken a toll. The fun has gone for her, and took any notion of 'good service' with it. She now hates her 'job' but she's now addicted to the money (in addition to what ever other addictions she has) and can't quit.

I've experienced that last first hand, more than once (including a really good first visit, and very lackluster second visit). If you read all the various reviews, you can see it there too. It isn't just you. She has either become high volume and quality (as reflected in reviews) has suffered, or she is able to maintain quality and her availability goes down as her rates just go up and up.

I'll keep prospecting unknowns. Not all of them turn out bad, a couple have been quite good, but even my 'discoveries' (not just escorts, but even the massage parlour girls that are exemplary enough that I ask for them by name) follow the pattern. My favorite becomes everybodies' favorite, and thus transforms into nobodies' favorite.

And I "believe" that message does not stay too long. I don't know if there's any other way to tell.

I'm in Boston this week and they were talking about this over in the Boston forums. It looks like the same old Backpage except that the domain is. Co (UK).
