If you asked those questions on the international threads, you might get some good answers or of course you may get flamed with a RTFF or search the internet. Anyway, here goes:

Passport:

Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalanianaole Federal Building
300 Ala Moana Blvd., Suite I-330
Honolulu, HI 96850

You can also get a passport through many of the libraries. Just call them to confirm. They have the paperwork. You will need to get a passport photo. Less than $20 for the photo. The passport is good for 10 years of play.

Cost:
You can get a round trip to Thailand for about $900 to $1,000. If you ever wanted to see Japan, you can do a stop over through Japan Airlines, since there are no direct flights. If you use China Air or some other airline, they should have their own hubs for stop over if you wish. Normally you leave Hawaii, somewhere between 11:00am and 1:40pm and get to Bangkok around 11:00pm to midnight. You lose almost two days getting there, but get one day back on return due to the international date line (e.g. leave Friday get there very late Saturday night).

The hotels will cost between $50 and $150 (good to great) and $300 if you want to live it up in a high rollers type suite!

Currency:
The currency is the baht. 1,000 baht is about $25 US, but it bounces around a lot. You can and will get laid for $25 to $75, and many of them will be all nighters, with the ever so blissful morning wakeup bj. Of course, YMMV.

What to do:
In Bangkok, I guess it depends on your tastes, but here are some suggestions:

Soapies:
Definitely recommend Poseidon and/or Copacabana. Top of the line, nice selection and sideline girls. They have the classic fish bowl set up, with 30-50 girls. In the good old days, it was a hundred. Think Rush Hour 2, but better! With the sideline girls you can drink and get to know them and maybe find some chemistry. Colonze 2 has a smaller selection, but is less than 2,000 baht.

Take the subway and save some aggravation from the traffic. Others in the area include Emmanuel and Cesaers. Catherine and Colonze on Rama IX, CP2 on Sri Ayudhya Road. Plaza Entertainment on Petchaburi road is ok, but Cupidy next door is considered a ripoff. Taxi drivers get a kickback. Most places are 1,700 - 2,700 baht, and higher for the sideline girls and high end girls. Price range depends on the size and quality of the establishment. Tips range from 200-500 baht norm, although I have seen higher numbers mentioned.

Massage: 24 Hour: Sabai Sabai across from the Ambassador hotel, for 24 hour massage with extra's. Incall or Outcall. All the girls I met offer extras. In house hj only and takeout many offer fs. It's on the lane behind the 7-11, so you can't see it from the main drag. I believe that's Soi 11. The prices are 600-900 baht depending on time. The girls ask about 500 baht for the hj and 1,000-1,500 for fs. Pricey, but it is a 24/7 option. Mixed reviews, but I have never had a problem there.

Oily Massage: There's Tulip near the Thonglor BTS. There are several options on their menu, including fs. Angel Massage on Soi 22 & 26 is also very good. Nice selection of girls and lotion, oil or Thai massage options. As with most all BKK massage places, extra's are available.

NEP & Soi Cowboy Bars: NEP Angel Witch and Rainbow Bars, Soi Cowboy hit Long Gun, Baccara, etc. I also spent an afternoon once at one of the smaller bars at the end. It was raining and I ran in to stay dry. I bought the girls drinks and ended up buying rounds for several girls. Very similar to what happens in AC/Phils. As with all BKK bars, you pay the bar fine and work the tip out with the girl.

Beer Garden and Pool Bars: The Famous Bier Garten or Beer Garden is found on Soi 7. Easy place to pickup free lancers in the afternoon. There's Gullivers on Soi 5 and the Hillary Bars I and II on Soi 4. Too many others to mention.

Soi 33 Artists Bars, Livinstones & Massage Parlors: Soi 33 has both the artists bars and some very good massage places. The artists bars are named after famous artists and are more upscale. There are some great looking woman. Livingstones has parties in the evenings around the pool bar & pool area. The owner (Giotto) contributes a lot of posts, so info is easy to find. Giotto is friendly and helpful.

Soi 33 Teen Massage has some fans. Small rooms are the downside, but a nice selection of girls. I hear there are larger rooms available on the 1st floor. Massage is around 900-1,200 baht. FS is on the menu, but for around 1,500 baht extra. Akane is another Soi 33 MP. They use the Gel from Japan as a lubricant for the massage in the groin area and for the hj. FS is probably not available. This place is hard to find the first time. If you spot a "Peep Inn" sign, look under the garage area and you will see it about 50 feet in. Of the two, I would recommend Akane. They also have a Chitlom branch. You will see a lot of Japanese nationals at Akane. There are other massage places in addition to the two mentioned, including Angels and Tulip.

Down Time: During the day, hit the Emporium shopping mall. Nice place, excellent eating spots, and you can catch a movie. The movies are usually in english with Thai subtitles, it's cheap and best of all it's cool and you can recharge. The seats are very comfortable as well. Siam Square has another good shopping center. Non shopping includes some of the bars with pool tables or sports bars. There's always golf if you are into it. Of course there's temples galore, Grand Palace, and other touristy things.

In the evening, if you like singing, you can hit one of the Karaoke places and have some girls join you. After there's always the take out option.

Barbershops & Foot Massage Places: Friends massage near Nana for a nice pampering session. Options are haircut, shampoo, pedicure, foot massage, oil massage. Extra's are on the table. They open early and it's a good way to start the day. Get creative and suggest something off the menu and they may oblige! Lot's of other similar places, so don't limit yourself to Friends. Most options range from 250-600 baht.

J-Bars: There are quite a few bars catering to Japanese only. They can almost be as selective as some of the real Japan bars! Lol! Got turned away at a couple. In most, though, I was able to get in. Don't recall the names off hand, but they are all over the place. Very easy to spot.

Soi 22: Sazanka massage has been well reviewed in the massage thread and comes highly recommended. It is a unique experience, with a salt body scrub, massage and a very unique hj at the end.

Thermae: The place is a long time BKK institution that has changed over time. It was called the Star Wars bar, because of the mix of characters and nationalities. It's been years since I have gone there, but it seems there's a full range of 2's-9's and ages 20's-40's. All free lancers.

Night Clubs: Spasso at the Grand Hyatt. Nice selection of freelancers and non-working girls. Riva's at Sheraton Grande and CM2 in the basement of the Novotel at Siam Square are also very good.

Other: Of course there's the only in BKK stuff like Lolita's Soi 8 bj bar and Eden Club for the infamous threesome. There's also Patpong with the bars, shows and night market. Thaniya Plaza for electronics and the J-Bar and Massage scene catering to Japanese clientele.

10 Days is more than enough for a first visit. The heat and pollution may get to you a bit. Drink bottled water not tap. You may get the runs, since you never traveled internationally. One or two trips to either Thailand or the PI will take care of that. After that, your system will kick ass! You may be getting laid 2-5 times a day, so 10 days is a lot, unless you pace yourself or are Superman.

There's no difference going solo or with someone. Either way, you are going to want your own room, so the expenses are the same. The plus of going with someone is the conversation. Thai girls speak some english, but it's not their strong suit, so you do miss some good conversation during meals. Having said that, on your own, you get to do what you want and when you want to. You will be with girls constantly, so will you miss your buddy?

By the way, once you get your passport, monger heaven will open up to you. Asia is where it's at! I hope this helps.

To go to China Spa and Pine Tree, it would be easy to take any bus in Waikiki that makes a stop at Ala Moana Center (such as bus numbers 8, 19, 20, 42 and 58), and then simply walk up Keeaumoku Street.

Bus #20 and 42 will take you to the Arizona. For PT and CS, take #2, 13 or B Express, and get off at the Beretania/Keeaumoku intersection. You can check out several AMPs between that bus stop and the PT/CS area.

I used to enjoy Hotel Street in the 1980s and part of the 1990s, but unfortunately Hotel Street has changed and is no longer a good destination for hobbyists. However, there is still some action in other downtown areas, as you will see if you read the "Downtown" section of this forum.

Good idea. Looking at a map, I now see that walking in the makai direction from the Beretania/Keeaumoku intersection would require less effort than my suggestion of walking in the mauka direction from Ala Moana Center.

Back in the early-90s before the boom of internet porn, I used to go to the video stores there a lot. They were pretty good and had a good catalog o' porn. Thanks TG[/QUOTE]Driving around the island would take you around 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic. You should stop off at the old North Shore town to grab some shaved ice and some local grinds. It is kind of a tourist town. Checking out the beaches and sights is pretty much what you would be doing. If you want to go snorkeling, Hanauma Bay Beach (highly recommended) is a great fish reserve where you can swim with and check out the fishes (on land and in the water, hahaha).

Make sure to spell it with two Os if you have to write it anywhere... Honolulu.

As for driving, I would start by going around the east side (Hanauma Bay, blowhole, Sandy Beach, Makapuu, Wamanalo, etc.) then continue on Kamehameha Highway all the way to the North Shore (Haleiwa town). Then come back through the Pineapple fields and Dole Cannery before hitting Scholffield Barracks. Then on through via H2 til you hit H1. That won't get you everywhere, but certainly is the best drive you can take. Budget six hours for the whole thing with a stop in Haleiwa for lunch and Dole for a pineapple soft serve cone.

Yeah, Hotel St. is just 2 blocks makai (south) of what is now "Long's", where the street action currently is located downtown. I remember Hotel St. in the early '80 when it was still a public thoroughfare. Picture in your mind up to 100 streetwalkers or more when the fleet was in, and maybe around 60 on a normal weekend. The two blocks towards the canal was TV/TS territory, and you would not believe how many of them there were. Club Hubba Hubba used to bring in girls from the mainland, and a few used to board on location. The entire zone was insane on a busy weekend. Pimps, hookers, drug users and dealers, vice squad, johns, spectators, cruisers--everybody got into the act.

It means 1USD equals 32.9 Baht, which means when you spend 1000 for overnight for a bar girl, you would have spent a little more than $30.

Unfortunately, that system would be impossible. Under that system, everyone would exchange dollars for baht and then immediately exchange that same amount of baht for dollars, gaining an instant 80 percent profit.

Man, this got messed up! The exchange rate is simple:

1.00 US Dollars = 32.8513 Baht
30.00 US Dollars = 985.59 Baht (About 1,000 baht)

The reason 1,000 baht is important to remember is it's the standard building block for ST and LT rates. ST (Short time rates = 2-3 hours) and LT (Long Time Rates = Overnight). The ST rates are 1,000 to 2,000 Baht in general, although some girls ask for 3,000 Baht. The LT rates are 2,000 to 3,000 Baht, although again, some girls may ask for 4,000 Baht.

The rates vary based on looks and venue. Hot Girl, Hyatt Night Club BKK, and you will hear them ask for 4,000 Baht easy. You can negotiate! If the girl likes you, you can get away with less.

On average, you will be able to have a very good time for 1,000 to 3,000 baht. This includes freelancers and the famous Soapies.

You will always get about 5% less on the exchange back into Dollars. Let's face it, the Exchange places are in it to make money.

It depends on how you want to operate while you're there whether you'll need a wing man or not. If you want to pick up legit girls, then go to the Greenbelt clubs (like Cafe Havana). They have stunning model type Filipinas there.

That's what I meant. They are white skinned beauties. The white skin comes from the predominately chinese blood (not literally) they have. But the mix is where the exotic comes in. I like all colors, so it's not a big deal to me, but there's a definite class distinction in Thailand. White skin is normally associated with high class and they are all around. At the high end clubs, Soapies, etc. Bangkok is a melting pot of hotties!
