Do some research on the site, a deep google search not just the first 2 pages of results since those are propped up by their marketers. POF you have to be careful with since they automatically ban your username if you send something like a dozen or more PM's in a short period of time, you can kind of get around that by sending unique messages instead of a ton of very similar ones. But their auto ban software is very trigger happy. Have had and worked with multiple accounts on both sites over the years. Realistically a sub is not forever so when you release one it's always nice for both sides. It also helps to know straight up which are complete pros so you don't go bare there. I've got about 2 yrs of activity there on both the success and fail sides, but it generally takes weeding through the stack just like our other resource sites (BP, CL, etc). I will say it is a pretty nice stack to weed through though. Just stick to your budget, know what you want and be upfront with them in your initial msgs, at the same time being respectful, and the fruits will start falling from the tree. You'd be surprised with how many women are using part of their email address as their handle.
