What seems to get muddled up in the SD / SB thing is that too many women are pros to begin with and believe that they can still see multiple clients while at the same time have one guy footing a considerable amount of jack to support her, and in many cases, her habit. On the flip side of this, a mistress should be seeing only the man who is fronting her the money in exchange for being the exclusive man in her life. Kind of like comparing ownership in a time share to renting an apartment. Keep in mind that my interpretation comes from a guy who has been around for more years than he has left, okay? Times change but this is how I feel it should be.

It was just announced on the news by a Simpsonville city councilman that this sting was setup up by Simpsonville chief of police. It was an effort to show he is doing his job to save his ass from being fired. 54 people's lives screwed up because one person wants to save his ass and make himself look good. That's just messed up.

I do would not boo-who if I got caught. Knock on wood. I know its a crime even at that low level. But I also cannot discount.
The bad things come of that cash it goes to. Its a crime. But the media publizing I don't think helps the situation. I'm sure BP's interest went up 1000% over the last two weeks! Things might be going on in Spartanburg. Multiple girls are in custody for prostitution including one that was in the Simpsonville sting. Be safe.

Saw that on the news, instead of fighting for his job he just resigned. Seems he ruin a lot lives for nothing. Just my thought.
That guy was on his way out even with the bust. It made no difference to his job security. In any case you can't blame LEO for doing their job or in doing it in a high profile manner. That gets them public support. Prostitution is a crime, although we think it's a victimless crime, except when the woman is underage or coerced. The only way to change is to vote in people who support legalization, just like Colorado did with pot. Put into perspective the bust in Simpsonville was the first any of us know about. Compare that to the multiple busts along the I-85 corridor over the last couple years. The lesson to be learned here is you have to screen ruthlessly no matter where, no matter when.

Anyone that's forced or manipulated by someone should be punished severely. Screening tirelessly is the best option for anyone who wants to participate in this hobby.

SPARTANBURG, S. C. —Twenty-seven people were arrested in an attempt to "curb prostitution" in Spartanburg County, the county's sheriff said.
Of the 27 arrested, 11 are streetwalkers, three are spa employees and 13 are internet suspects, deputies say.

The charges include prostitution, loitering for prostitution, public disorderly conduct, possession of cocaine base and possession with intent to distribute marijuana, the sheriff said.
Three bench warrants were served to suspects who were avoiding arrest and investigators also signed two drug warrants, deputies said.
Deputies said during the investigation, they discovered two abandoned properties on Lassiter and Sibley streets in Spartanburg that were being used for prostitution.
Lt. Kevin Bobo says several investigations are still underway for possible future charges of human trafficking.
