This was around 2:30-3:30, sometime in there. I don't remember the exact time.
Point is, there was zero action on Kuhio. Probably had something to do with the presence of about three cop cars and an ambulance in front of the International Marketplace. Saw a guy lying back on the sidewalk, holding an icepack to his nose, watched over by a cop. No damaged vehicles that I saw though.
Anyhow, I was pooped and could see that that little drama was going to go on for a while, so I split.
I go to waikiki about 3 times a year, last trips in May and Sept 05 picked up girls (8+s) within a few minutes of passing the princess, but this trip was different. First night out went out about 11:30, there were a few girls out but not nearly as many as usual and there were le cruisers everywhere. Got a few 'hey babys' including the mentioned black model type but passed. Decided to try the next night at 2am, a few girls were out but no way near what they used to be. The old days you would get approached every 15 feet. Talked to a tall girl from SF but she was very cautious, finally asked if she had a room and she said no but could get one -that seemed a little strange becasue they always had one in the past so I passed. Bottom line it seemed tighter than ever before, next trip maybe I just stick to club asia.
Friday night, Nov. 3, I cruised Waiks at around 3:00-4:00 am. Now I've visited here on and off over the past 10 years, cruised Waikiki in the days when the fun was on Kalakaua and the cops didn't give a crap. I'm aware that now things have moved to Kuhio, and there's more police presence than ever at the moment (I suspect the election is part of that equation), but the other night I became aware of some folks I hadn't seen before.
Namely a larger number of African-American men and working girls around. One guy was dressed in a three-piece suit, and he was walking up and down in front of Intl. Market Place like he owned the place. Was he a pimp? My street senses, honed on the mean streets and underground booty clubs of Detroit and NYC, said yes. Now, I am NOT racist, seriously. But some black pimps make a show of it, and this guy sure gave off the same vibe. A couple of the other guys looked more like muscle.
On top of that, a friend of mine who's local and knows Waikiki from having worked a number of jobs there, said there were a lot more black folks around at night than before.
So I'm getting the feeling that, amongst other recent changes in the Honolulu/Waikiki escort scene, that there's been a recent influx of black girls and now pimps from the mainland. Does this sound accurate to those of you with more experience here?
You know, I'm not new at this. About 12 years ago when I finally had my own place I first called a service out of the phone book and have "mongered" on and off ever since. Mostly off, but there were periods where I indulged frequently.

So I've been lurking around Kuhio on weekend nights for a few weeks, and if you check below you'll see my report from Friday the 13th where I saw a hot young blond with glasses and a skirt barely over her ass. I suspect this is the same girl others have mentioned from their description of her dress. Short version of my review is this: Total upseller.
Longer version: I'm hanging outside Denny's when that girl walks by, catches my eye and asks if I want a date. She had a little room at street level close to Ala Wai with a mattress on the floor, some screens covering the windows, dimly lit with whatever the local hip hop station is on the radio. I hand over the 3, we get naked, and then comes the rules in quick succession: no kissing (I think it's just a stupid way for girls to hold out on you, unless you suffer from the tragedy of halitosis, but whatever), no touching of the breasts (oh, come ON!) and no touching down "there." Now I'm getting an inkling of what's in store (or rather, what's not) but you know how it is ... you've spent the money, might as well make the best of it and hope you're wrong.
So from then on ... light groping by me on her. She lies down on her stomach and doesn't move and I try to get some satisfaction out of the fact that she does have a nice ass and smooth skin. I enjoy it as much as I could, but seriously, I didn't pay her 3 so I could feel up her spine. No, honey, a favor would have been to spell out a couple things when I told her how much I wanted to spend ... but that would have actually cost her something. Namely, the contents of my wallet.
So, to recap my most glaring errors: I never got a concrete answer on the blowjob question, never asked what my 3 would actually get me, and fell for the frustrated upsell gambit.
Of course the real mistake was thinking I could have the kind of fun you can get in most other parts of the country in Waikiki. New York girls have nothing on these women in terms of money grubbing and snooty rules.
So if you see this girl on your own rounds, don't hesitate to flip her off.

Sorry I haven't checked in recently; been super busy. I went to Waikiki last week and saw two notables.
