Of course, that was back before the Internet became popular.
There was a provider I saw during her early days in the business. I paid a reasonable fee and popped twice during our session, one of the few providers with whom I've enjoyed two pops over the years. Several years later I came across her ad. By that time she had changed names, jacked up her rates and instituted some new rules. She also had a web site and stated on the site that she found negotiations to be insulting. She was within her rights to do what she wished, but she never got me as a customer again before she finally retired.
