A few of us have noticed how the sheriff department website has had some glitch the last several months or so, where any new arrest mugshot fails to show up on the arrest reports. I would almost think they were purposefully trying to keep the mughsots from appearing, that is, if they weren't public records. I know if I were to peruse the arrest records and see someone arrested that lived near me for some violent act I'd want to know what they look like, but if that was their first arrest their mugshot probably won't appear. I guess they'd blame the website problems on their lack of manpower. Whatever. Their website is ran by a computer tech, I assume. A computer tech could probably get that issue solved in two or three minutes so it's no lack of manpower issue. It's like when people want to charge you for subscribing or reconnecting something that requires nothing more than the pressing of a button. Or we could blame it on the economy, or Obama, or the oil spill, there's always something to pass the blame for things to.

Some are obvious like FTA must be failure to appear, I think UMPOCS is unlawful manfacturing possessing controlled substance probably. Usually it was only occasionally that a mug shot wouldn't appear, now it's almost surprising when you actually see a mug shot. I think it's something off kilter with their software not accepting new mug shots past a certain date. The reason I say that is older mug shots still appear, and if someone is re-arrested the mug shot from an old arrest appears. I think they just don't know about it, don't have the manpower to fix it, or just don't care to fix it. The arrest records including mug shots are public knowledge, and should be made to be shown if nothing more so if you see someone who lives near you arrested for some violent crime you'll know what they look like to steer clear of them. I sent an anonymous email to them a while back letting them know of the mug shot snafu, but it did no good.
As for the various abbreviations, there's not anything that hardly ever appears actually naming prostitution. Occasionally there's one called 'loitering for prostitution' that appears, or just 'loitering'. Most SW related offenses are usually possession and the like, and that's what the SW are usually arrested for, not just the loitering for the prostitution. Below are most of the abbreviations and what they mean as published in one of the mug shot papers.
PCS, POCS - possession of controlled substance
PRCS - possession or receiving a controlled substance
DCS, DOCS - distribution of a controlled substance
MCS, MOCS - manufacturing controlled substance
PM, POM - possession marajuana
PDP - possession of drug paraphernalia
TOP - theft of property
FUCC - fraudulent use of credit card
PFI - possession of forged instrument
NWNI - negotiating a worthless negotiable instrument (bad checks)
PI - public intoxication
UBEV - unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle
RSP - receiving stolen property
DWLS,DWLR - driving while license suspended or revoked
GFI - giving false ID/name
DV - domestic violence
VUCSA - violation of uniform controlled substance act (forged prescription)
MTSASS - motion to set aside suspended sentence
MIP - minor in possession
CPWOL - carrying pistol without license
DFIOB -discharging firearm into occupied building
LSA - leaving scene of accident
ATT (usually listed before an offense) - attempted
PV - probation violation
