I've not been on the boards in a while but glad to see nothing has changed! I keep hoping this place will come back around one of these days. I noticed the place in Trussville has add "therapudic massages" to their signs now.
Last time I went to One I did get a good table shower I have to admit. Probably 10 minutes.

1. There are no cute girls at the local AMPs, all are older women. Some with bad attitudes demanding "Teepp" for poor service. Back in the day they used to rotate young ladies through these establishments, but not now. And they used to try and make sure you were pleased with the service, that customer service attitude is also dead.
2. HJ, FS, etc. Are not available at these places anymore. The most a few might allow is do-it-yourself. For that I can stay at home and not spend any money.

The mamasan, Julie, made the local news when the Homewood PD raided the place due to complaints from local homeowners. They made the mistake of being located near a residential area. It was a legit hair salon, with "massage" offered in a back / side room. I was lucky to have enjoyed the services of a couple of different very pretty UAB coeds who provided the happy ending massages. As I remember, the owner Julie disappeared before her court date. The Bham News made it sound as if there was more to her disappearance than just avoiding her trial, but I never read any follow-up about her case.
Again, everyone on here needs to be more specific when you speak of an "AMP. " At Ocean, or One you can get whatever you want. The second two places are no different than the old QT, or Fuji. These type places are what I think of when I hear or an Asian massage parlor. All of the other places around town, like Panda, or Kung Fu, yes, what you said is true. The big main difference is that the second places are a legit business. Both men and women go there. And the majority are looking for a legit massage and don't even think about other things. As for Ocean or places of the like, there's not a woman around who's going to be caught dead in those places. And there's nothing therapeutic at all about the service. Other than depositing a load.
