My gut reaction was to tell you to RTFF Read the Fucking Forum since all the questions you asked have been answered numerous times. However, since I'm in a good mood, I'll bring you up to speed.
Fig has become a late night/early morning track. You can find girls during the day, but not nearly as many as there once was. If you want daytime action, head on over to LBB instead.
As for the girls, if you're shopping in the hottie galleries (upper 40's, mid/upper 60's, 90's, 104th, 108th, 110th), a cbj should be able to be obtained for .40 - .50, but don't be surprised if some girls quote .60, which would more reasonable if it was a bbbj.
If you're not familiar with the area and not experienced at p/u SW's, Fig is not for you. It's a dangerous area with lots of gang activity and lots of LE. If you look or act out of place, you'll be spotted in a flash. Not a fan of the car date on that track, but I'd also hate to see you drop another .25-.50 for a room just for a cbj.
My recommendation: Find out which streets are hot with women, then scope the nearby surroundings for a spot that you believe to be secure for a car-date. Then, go find your girl and tell her you have a good place to date.
On my way home this afternoon and decided to cruise down LBB to see what was going on, haven't been there in quite a while. Everything was looking pretty good, a few nice BSW's were out and about. Headed down towards the duck pond, nothing there so I headed down the back street towards B of A. When I reached the corner, I see two BSW's in the shopping center, one looked really nice, the other was just OK. The nice one was talking to a guy in a truck. Damn, he must come quickly and easily if he can get off from a quick cbj! I would invest the $ to $.8 for FS and I would definitely get a room at a notel. There are several good choices both on Fig itself and on Broadway. Most of the girls can suggest a place to use.
I headed out to fig yesterday and there was plenty of girls out. It's been a minute since I went to fig and I decided to see it once more before 2009 came to an end. (this is what made me go).
