Dilute stupidity with intelligence and humor.
I can't speak for everyone but I know for a fact a handful of them left because they got tired of BJ's bulls*t. It's a shame that one person ruined for the rest of us.
Dfrbs
When drama kicks into high gear, those of us who choose to abstain from it can quickly push it off the front page with enough intelligent and / or humorous conversation.
So. Anyone have a particularly good weekend?
OK, Lilly, you can drop the normal act!

So. Anyone have a particularly good weekend?
How dare you come on here and start spouting polite conversation! This sort of flagrant disregard of typical board etiquette shall not be tolerated.
The trolls are hungry, it's only being charitable to feed them.
Oh, BTW, my weekend was nice, thanks for asking. And yours?

Quick question for mongers from a provider.
As most of you know, I operate by text and by email. I think some other providers may do so as well.
Since I turn my work phone off when I'm not working, I have not idea when it is or is not okay to text back. The phone just tells me when MY phone got the message, which is whatever time I happened to turn it back on.
As a monger (client / sponsor / whatever term you favor). How is it best to deal with texts that were received much later than you originally sent them?
My options seem to be:
- respond when I get the text with a vague message. "hey, I'm in Nashville."
- respond with a crazy text that can be immediately dismissed as "sent to the wrong number". Example. "Hey, girl, you are never going to believe what just happened."
- don't respond at all and wait for you to send a message again.
Which works best for the gents out here, especially those who may have Mrs. Mongers looking over their shoulders?
