Cmon man, this is SW 101....
As a relative noob myself I'll see if I can help. Of course "Read the Forum". You'll hear that a lot. Spend some time with the search functions. Share your CL stories. I'd love to read them and so would lots of other folks. Finally...In the close to 3 years I've been enjoying the forum I don't believe I've ever seen a new poster ask questions and get serious answers on the first post. My advise is read read read. Share what you can, and be patient.
The 2 EASIEST ways to determine if you are dealing with a girl on the clock, as opposed to an innocent civilian are;
1. Eye contact. If she makes eye contact with you as you pass her, odds are she is looking for a date.
2. The SW wave, (Sometimes immediately after the eye contact.)If she gives you the SW wave, no question about it...she wants your business.
If the woman in question doesn’t give you the look or the wave, chances are good she is civilian.
Now these aren’t hard and fast rules, allot of time, if I don’t get the gaze or the wave, but my SW sense is going off strong, I will drive around the block once and give her a second drive by. Sometimes you catch them in a bad spot where they don’t want to either A. be seen flagging you down. Or B. they might be already waiting there for another "customer".
Just like most things in life, the more experience you have, the better you get.
My biggest piece of advice for you Rookie SW mongers is this, TRUST your first instincts!! If she looks TGTBT(too good to be true), RTFF.....then she probably is. We all have that wish about finding that fresh meat clean SW who gives GFE for only a couple Jacksons, but that’s all that is...a dream.
And don’t stay locked into just one loop, the longer you linger in one area...the more you are just asking for the BPD to notice you. I typically start at B/CB loop, make 2 full rounds, then head up north to the W/W/pigtown loop, and then if still slow..I will do the c/cb loop one more time on my way home.
Be safe,
Hawkeye
