Sometimes in this hobby, we need to have a sense of humor at times.

If any members see Melanie now, usually walking the streets in Schenectady near the Imperial Motel on State Street. Please tell her that Quail is still eager to see her and promises to buy her her own muffins LOL.

It's going on a year and you're still crying about this?! You act like you're the only one who's been ripped off by a trusted provider. It's happened to plenty of us. We report AND MOVE ON.

I am sure this will get overlooked with the muffin saga but I was a regular for Jamie before she had the drama with the handler. Long story short, tried to reconnect, had a hard time booking as she was busy. She emailed and texted me pick a time for this next visit and its yours. I pick a time, show up. NO GO, doesn't answer texts and when I call she is eating. Book another appt hours later, offered by her, assured she is so sorry, can't wait to see me, etc etc. Show up, NO GO, stiffed. Twice in 2 hours. I guess my time isn't as important as hers. Oh well, I gave $$. 5 to another provider who took me within 30 min. Had a awesome time. I guess you could say I got Jinxed!

I only responded because recently Lord Pippin posted his own cash & dash took place, and PrJoe commented that he just read the thread about when " your girl Melanie / Roxanne " pulled this on me. I have read your posts over the many years that you and I have been members here and see that you have been a long time client of Melanie's as well. Maybe you are one of the fortunate clients that she hasn't ripped off / lied to (yet). Lucky you. But beware when you least expect it, it just may happen.

And as long as I'm replying to you, please stop calling me and other men " DUDE " . You are an adult, in your 50's for Christs sake.

And I will promise you to NOT bring up Melanie's cash & dash and lying to me and others on this site.

For anyone heading out that way, I saw a real good provider in Portsmouth over the weekend; posted short report in NH other areas.

Also posted about a bodyrub provider with an attitude problem on the phone who I skipped which worked out well as that led me to the better FS experience.

As a person with no dog in this fight, I'd only comment that Quail's post have always been upbeat and kind of poking fun at his own blunder. He doesn't seem bitter or as if hes belaboring an otherwise dead topic. He's entertained the rest of us with this repeated reminder that YOU NEVER HAND OVER THE GOODS UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THE DEAL WILL GET DONE! I've not tired of this muffin levity, in fact quite the contrary. I think it's added to an otherwise dead board. Let Quail have his fun!

I have to agree with L10 I don't post much but I do know a few of the top posters and although the main purpose of this board maybe to exchange info and experiences about providers I believe it's also a source of escapist entertainment, I personally commend quail for being able to furnish is with a little comedy stemming from his error and his ability to not take the thing so seriously. This is about having fun gentlemen so let's not take it so seriously.

I see that Quail has poked fun at himself, taken the good natured ribbing from other members, and done it with style. Putting a little humor into a serious subject (loosing a trusted provider, and not to mention the money) deserves our respect, not admonishing him. I read the board often, but hobby infrequently, so I do feel we should listen to the more experienced members. - Dave.
