Its the American way, immigrants concentrating on certain businesses, etc.

Why is it men of India run 7-11s and notels?[/QUOTE]I think it's just an ethnic pattern of success.
One Indian (talking Asia, not Americas) immigrant gets into the motel/hotel business at the entry-level point, learns the business, catches a break (maybe the owner likes him and shows him how to get started; or maybe he just figures it out on his own) and gets his own property. Motel business, obviously, is profitable. He gets his family into the business (probably starting as non-salaried help). Eventually they branch out and get their own properties. Maybe they sponsor another relative to come over and work another location, eventually, they (hopefully) get their own businesses.
I have traveled throughout the USA, probably been to more than half the states. Often by ground transportation. Not unusual for me to stop somewhere (unplanned), find a motel off the highway and run into an Indian person working the counter. You almost expect it because you see them running so many hotels (Motel 6's, Super 8's, the independent motels, etc.).
In another business situation, I did hear that there is a huge Indian motel owners association (they must have thousands of properties across the US. Ever seen "Mississippi Masala" with Denzel?). Motels/hotels just happens to be an niche that the East Indians have gravitated to.
Obviously, the immigrants getting into this niche, usually aren't university educated (example. There are thousands of East Indian physicians in the USA). Which could account for the cleanliness complaints. Often, poor folk are used to less than stellar living conditions (or they tolerate it better. Often, they don't have other options). Ever see the PBS/History Channel documentaries on the Depression & the Dust Bowl & the Black Blizzard. It was so bad in that era, that most of those people were living in dusty/dirty conditions.
If you find their living conditions or establishments "dirty", that might have to do with overcrowding (I've noticed familes living at the notels, running them. Possibly overcrowding. I'm sure they don't get paid hourly, they just all pitch in for the good of the family) or simply not knowing any better. Someone from a peasant lifestyle probably isn't as meticulous as someone from a "higher standard of living. "
Other ethnicities have gravited to other niches as well, throughout the history of immigration in the US.
Vietnamese. Nail salons
Mexicans/Central Americans. The restaurant industry

Back in the day. Japanese. Gardeners
Sorry for the usage of all those stereotypes; just trying to explain things.
I don't mean to disrespect anyone.
For my personal experience, I haven't had any problems when taking a provider to an hourly/"2 hours" room. Maybe there is some attitude, but I don't give a crap. Just trying to get my nut on and not get arrested.
