WMT and others are on there way out.
Not many people have the time or the desire to read page after page after page after page of posts.
But it's your sucky attitude which rankles me most. Do you treat the ladies like dirt? I hope not.
Have no fear. I plan on ending enough members and providers ver the next few months that they will be a minority and the peer pressure will either force them to be more civil, give back to the hobby community, or find some other place where there negative attitude and bullying behavior will be tolerated.
Keep in mind, that "senior designation" next to their name has nothing to do respect, reputation, intelligence and invaluable information to share to others. It simply means they lurked here for 6 months and posted 25 times. Nevermind that some folks on here post over 500 times and they think those frivolous post give them authority.
The majority will speak, and they will be shown the door so that this board will indeed flourish-for ladies-better clients that pay and don't cheat them, deride them, or haggle with them. For the gents it means more professional providers and better ads and research that is actionable.
This bullshit by the old gentry is over-they should go start their own site where thy can have circle jerks and compliment one another on how rude they can be-it will be a a lonely chatroom.
The beauty, is I won't have to post a word. I plan on flooding this board with experienced hobbyists and providers and we will drive out the waste of space that some seniors take up, peer pressure will prove to be the best tool.
So, either start treating people, new and old, in a more considerate manner-or leave.
Okay. I will disclose some personals
To all my old friends on this board, new friends, nubies, and providers alike. I know my posts have not been too kind as of late. For that I am sorry. I am under a world of stress. I have a 91 mother I must put into a nursing home. Has anyone tried to navigate the b/ s of Medicaid forms to do this? STRESS! Plus there is so much else that goes along with this process. My stress level is in overdrive. To those I have offended, I offer my appolgies and I am sorry. The new hobbists will continue when us old farts leave. I applaud Thorbane among others! He reminds me of me 2-3 years ago as an active and great contributor! I also have recently learned I have an irregular heart beat. Great. What else do I need right now? Nothing too serious, but! Procedures will be forthcoming. I would normally keep this crap private, but I know I have offended many, so you all should know why I have been a butt. Sorry, so I thought you all should know why I have become grumpy and a complete asshole! It is unsettling to me, a bit scared and WTF is this happening to me! But I am sure I will be back to keep after you guys and girls! Until then, I am signing off until things are takening care of. Stay safe, treat the "A" providers right as they will you! Watch out for stings and protect each other.hobbists and providers alike. Wingman has left the room for awhile! Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to All! And God bless this country!
I have stayed away from all the hostile banter here so far. I too, would be considered a newbie here myself. But I think I have been figuring out this sight better by now. I'm glad to see some are recognizing that maybe they are being a little sensitive towards newbs. (that is NOT an antagonistic remark towards those that are doing it). I'm sorry you've had a bad month, period. And I applaud your above post. It takes a man to recognize this in himself. We are all here for the same thing, essentially.
I did notice that there is a thread lower down that explains to newbies the basic "proper use" of this board. But I also noticed that it contains little useful info regarding problem topics. Maybe we should utilize this thread more and update it, so as to be able to refer newbies to it in answer to their questions, instead of flaming them and scaring them off. After all, these newbies may eventually become useful sources of info themselves, with some guidance. They will eventually toftt. Additionaly all the hostility / negativity will eventually drive off the good / legitimate providers, or keep new ones from joining.
This is all IMHO.
