What are some of your red flags? Other than deposit request what makes you say no way to someone when you see their ad? For me a big red flag is out of state phone numbers. I can see someone in CT having a MA, NY, or RI phone number but I can't trust anyone which a number outside the region.

I google the number and if there are no hits then that's a red flag to me.

PinkSugar had a Florida number for a period that she was in CT. Nicole traveled up from Philly and had a Philly number. To name a few. Sumoseach was good when it was up to see where they previously posted ads and then check the forums in those areas. Also checking TER and ECCIE. I'd prefer to see someone previously reviewed by more than one person. Anyone can change their number to a local one to the ad section it's posted too. It just takes a few more steps to verify.
