I called mid-morning and we made early-afternoon plans, at which time she gave me the general area and said she'd text me the address. Nothing. After about 30 minutes I texted her, with no response. Since I'm nearby, I went ahead and went to the crossroads at the appt time and called, no answer, then waited 10 minutes and tried again, no answer, so I gave up.

Now, I use Google Voice, so anything is possible, but I've never had call or texting problems with it before. So I assume she bailed on me.

Anyone know of anywhere worth stopping in the western part of the state? I've got to drive out to a conference in Harrisonburg in a couple weeks, and was thinking about going a night early and getting a room either there or somewhere along the way. Anyone with suggestions, either pm or reply.

[/QUOTE]One thing to consider is your really don't want too many people posting on a good thing as our favorite Uncle may become too interested. A couple of good reviews, or any bad ones, is enough to get the word out IMHO.
