Went to court, took a class and got it dismissed. Close call for sure. Don't use the yellow pay phones and always keep your mouth shut. It's not what you know, it's what you can prove! Whew!

You staying quiet and not letting your mouth fill in the details of an arrest warrant was smart on your part. Reminds me of the video that a friend of the hobby linked a while back, never say anything as it will be used against you.

My point though in commenting is the part about tapping the phone. LE was perhaps not telling the truth there and simply trying to intimidate you by making you think they had more. Good reminder that they are not obligated to telling the truth in trying to get an arrest. Unless they had your permission or your trusted friend's, then if they had tapped the phone, they couldn't have used that. But, they would have loved for you to think they could and hopefully give in and try to " help" yourself. Good job in not giving them what they wanted. My guess is they were simply staking out the place and thought you could be fooled.

Good thing you kept your senses about you, they count on people being their own worse enemy and ratting on themselves. Sounds like they were just grasping at straws hoping someone would not be as smart about it as you were. Good rule to live by in those situations, deny, deny and then deny some more. Even if they catch you with your pecker in her mouth,"I got snake bit and she was sucking the poison out". Never give them anything.

Has anyone ever heard of providers posting profiles on that site? I know I have seen one profile that was either a provider I have seen or they were at least using her pic. Seen another with a pic that I have seen on a providers ad that I have not met.

The only real women on there are the fugly ones you have nightmares about. That's like hunting butterflies with bazookas; the effort doesn't match the crime. More than likely, an undercover detective was watching your girl (or her pimp) on probable drug and / or trafficking suspicion. When you pulled in, they ran your tags and had officers near your home casing the streets to pull you over. They searched your car looking for drugs on probable cause because of your contact with a suspicious person involved with their investigation. I mean, what else would they be interested in? A condom stash? They were probably trying to get you to talk knowing that you were involved with a sex trade for money scheme. Police will use this tactic to get you to admit guilt; charges and detainment follow directly after. I've been researching these guys and have a detective in the extended family (not in Nash). It never hurts to park a block or two away, if possible, and walk to your appointment. Even taking a cab wouldn't be a bad idea. Just my two cents! Stay safe and keep the info flowing!

I wouldn't recommend denying either. You can be charged with lying to a cop on top of the original charge. Just don't say anything and don't cooperate. You'll be better off keeping quite. Oh, always make sure you're clean. No drugs, weapons, etc.

And don't be afraid. We are small fries.

If you piss the cop off by being uncooperative, he will probably put you in the paddywagon anyway. I mean, don't be stupid and incriminate yourself. NEVER admit guilt, but be willing to work with the situation. Have a story and stick to it. Keep it general and leave details out. This method has gotten me out of several sticky situations in the past including a DUI arrest. When the cop asked me if I had anything to drink, I acted like hadn't had a drink in months. A cop's goal is to build evidence against you for court. Therefore, always LIE about anything that can incriminate you. In court, it will be your word versus his. This gives your Lawyer some ground to work with if charges are filed. If the cop doesn't have a perfect record, the case could get thrown out all together. Just my two cents again. Take it for what it's worth and stay safe!
