Just wanted to share some intel for the greater good.
I've only seen a few CL girls and am fairly new to the hobby, so I haven't memorized all the rules yet.
Saw Layna recently. She goes by "Mason housewife", "erotic and busty", etc. She's a thick blonde girl with HUGE boobs.
Got to the room and she said her credit card was declined and the front desk needs her to pay cash. So I gave her the money so she could go down and settle the bill.
I know, I know, stupid newbie mistake.
Obviously she never came back. There's been several more reports on CL just this week about her ripping guys off.
So guys, beware, Layna seems to be a rip off.
Mongering 101: 13 Rules (back by popular demand)
Thanks to my homeys Mr. Boomer and Dz who gave me an excuse to edit and repost my 13 rules of "Mongering 101." I have polished them a bit to make them more global.
These rules were developed from experience with SWs, but most of them apply well to escorts, and CL providers. One word about these two latter categories: They seem to me exorbitantly overpriced, and may STILL rip you off.
1) Only carry as much $$ as you are willing to lose... I always stash all valuables (my wallet, extra cash, cell phone, etc.) in a hidden spot. Carry a nearly empty monger's wallet.
2) Be VERY cautious if the "SW" on the street looks TOO good i.e., in MOST US cities, SWs do not dress in stilettos, leopard prints, or other obvious hooker outfits. It smells of a sting. I cannot repeat enough: Caution is the watchword. Tell little head to be quiet until after big head approves.
3) Do not call attention to yourself by making a show out of the stop (no U turns, no flagrant traffic moves). Catch her eye (she will be looking) and pull around the corner onto the next side street and let her come to you. (Do not keep your foot on the brake.) Alternatively, having caught her eye, go smoothly around the block, looking for LE.
4) When you pull up to her (have the door locked), be willing to drive away if your close up impression of her through the window is not good. (Sores, too thin, wired, dirty & stinky, sullen or "dead" eyes? SWs are NEVER as good as your first impression driving by...) Tell her you thought she was someone else.
5) Ask her if she needs a ride. She should immediately say "Yes" and hop right into the car. Do NOT negotiate through the window. The monger's first test for LE: stinging decoys will NOT get into the car. However, a caution, difficult to guard against: busted SWs, in order to stay out of jail, may be forced to serve as decoys. They MIGHT get into your car. But, if you refrain from discussing business until you are out of the neighborhood and make certain you are not being tailed, you should be OK.
If she insists on negotiating through the window, tell her you thought she was someone else, a friend, and split. Watch out for tailing LE.
6) Once she is in the car, IMMEDIATELY get out of the neighborhood. Local LE will stop and hassle you if they see a known SW in your car, my personal experience.
Get permission to feel her bare breasts to be SURE she isn't LE. She may grab your crotch to ensure that you aren't LE. Then get a crystal clear understanding of exactly what you want (covered or no, catch or no, swallow or no, etc) and for exactly how much (plus tip if satisfied). Extensive bargaining is a warning flag of a troublesome SW, and another reason to turn her out. Warning flags go up if the girl is willing to do FS uncovered. NEVER, dudes...
7) Go to YOUR location unless given a good reason not to. HER location may include a male friend of hers who will rip you off. If she refuses your spot, you have another reason to turn her out. Be especially cautious of locations where you have no easy exit. Be VERY leery of taking them to your home! You know the phrase “Come back to haunt you…”
8) NEVER, NEVER give up the $ before you are finished. You can pay a small token up front, but NEVER the whole amount. If she refuses, then “Thanks, but no thanks.” Once she has your money, she is in control. This includes fronting money so they can buy some "butter." Money in their hand may mean you will never get into their bush...
9) SW drug use can be a problem, but try to read what it might be. In my experience, crack (butter) leaves them still cogent, able to reason, and may make them more enthusiastic. On the other hand, heroin (dog food) addiction leads either to very dangerous situations, or makes them semiconscious—hardly satisfying. I see crack creating a dependency, but does not cause the kind of withdrawal that becomes an emergency for them. Crank can make them very horny--do not have direct experience. If they seem REALLY drugged up, it is another reason to turn them out. The difficult truth is that the vast majority of SWs do so to support some habit.
10) Do not let outside people get involved. No answering doors, no second girls, no nothing. You are asking for serious problems.
11) If confronted with a dangerous situation, do not get hostile or seriously argumentative. Tempers flair quickly, to what extent, you may not want to learn. You are in the underworld. GIVE IT UP. After all, you stashed your wallet, extra $$ and valuables elsewhere, right?
12) If you ARE ripped off, publicize the hell out of it on this board with as much descriptive detail as you can. Educate the rest of us about what mistakes you might not make again. Give a detailed description of the SW, her name, exactly where, when, how you connected. If you got a picture, post it!
13) Finally, try to get to know those SWs who ARE dependable. They can, and often are willing to advise you about dangerous, drugged out or HIV positive SWs. Remember however, even long-time dependable SWs should not have TOO much temptation placed in front of them--even they can "grab and run."
Stay safe--even if the thrill of the hunt is part of the deal.

Also were you in the motel room when you met her or someplace near waiting? Reason I ask is because this "Layna" chick has been ripping off guys left and right. Lets put her out of business.
Thanks for being open about your experience and I do know how it feels to to ripped off like that. So I want to share and give you my pointers for hooking up with CL girls or any Service Providers you meet on the Net.
I've made connections with lots of Servicer Providers long before we had the internet and CraigsList. This was back in the days of Ads in newspapers and yellow-pages before I had gotten into the Net. I've had many successful hookups but had a few bad ones as well. Here's what I basically do to find a good escort service.
When meeting an "escort girl" from CL or web site or even an Ad from the backpages you call or email her you're interested in her services.
Talking on the phone is best and when you do tell her you are interested and like to know more about her service. Ask questions about massages and see if you can get a conversation going. You can get a feel if you want to meet this person. She can be real friendly and talkative or she might be short and rude. I've found this method did help in my decisions.
Very important: NEVER USE THE WORDS "SEX FOR MONEY" either on the phone or in emails.
The difference between escorts and cops is that an escort will avoid any conversation that the transaction is sex for money. A cop will try to get you to say that you are having sex for money. If the escort is using the words "sex for money" she is either very stupid, or she's a cop. If she is avoiding the words "sex for money" or any other similar agreements then she's probably OK.
You might want to call several escort services or independents to get familiar with what is being offered. Understand, though, that they might not be able to fully describe over the phone or in the emails what they do because they don't want to get busted by the law. In other words, if they say they offer "full female companionship, " or a "girl friend experience (gfe)" you're supposed to be sharp enough to figure out that you're going to get laid.
On the phone they won't likely give you a price list of what you get for what money, but you can ask questions like, If I have $200 on me, do you think that would cover everything or do I need to pay extra for tip? This will give you a ballpark idea of what you'll be paying. Make sure that there are no extra charges or what she ask for in her ads are just the cost of showing up. Very important to ask as many questions. If she doesn't like all these questions, tell her "thanks for your time but I don't want to be rip off and I'll find someone else". Be polite and gentlemanly when talking and you'll get better results when asking questions and she'll be better about you. Remember she doesn't want to get busted herself.
One common misconception about being busted is that you don't actually have to have sex for money to get busted. All you have to do is to agree to have sex for money. So either of you can get busted even if no sex or money changes hands. They do need to get it on tape though. So never say those words and she should never say those words.
She needs to know you're not a cop or a violent weirdo or someone who's going to be trouble. She also needs to let you know that she's expecting you to pay up front, but she can't ask you to give her money for sex, because that would be prostitution, and that's not what she does.
If you go to her place or to motel where she's at, there should be no reason she doesn't have a room all set up and ready to meet you. If that's not the case, walk away and don't say anything. Some ladies ask you to call from the car when you are outside, and others are happy to tell you in advance where you are coming. When you get to the door, knock on it. Don't stand around outside and be nervous. DO NOT cause attention. Look as if you belong there.
All legit service providers will want references and they do this in different ways so that you're not a cop or weirdo. You will have to refer to her site to know what she is looking for. This is a good sign that she's not LE herself.
Remember there are plenty of sites to check out the girls to see if she's a good provider or a rip off. Like TER is one of them.

Once you are in and both know you're not LE is the money exchange.
When she opens the door, come in. Let her shut the door and then you can greet one another. Most of the ladies I know will lead from this point. Lay the envelope with the money on a table. Allow her to see it but do not make a comment about it. * Do not try to talk about services and what she is going to do for you. Just let the time you are together happen naturally. Again NEVER USE THE WORDS "SEX FOR MONEY". It's a legal thing: You're not really giving her the money for sex.
But. She should not get the money and then need to leave the room to get something. One thing that can happen is that she gets paid. Then says she forgot the condoms in her car. And then drives away. This can happen to you and there's not a lot you can do about it. But you should ask her to leave the money if she needs to go out of the room. This is a bad sign if she does.
However, many women don't buy the best condoms, so if you have a brand you like, buy your own and offer to use your condoms. It will save her from having to use one of hers. It will also avoid an awkward delay if she forgets to bring one and would otherwise have to leave and run to the store to get one. I always keep a tube of KY Jelly when I meet an escort. Lubrication is good. Although the escort is supposed to bring these supplies it's a good idea that you have your own. I've had several escorts show up and forget to bring things so don't count on them having their act together.
Once everything is fine, she will ask you if you want to "get comfortable. " This means "are you ready to have sex? " Your job now is to lead her to the bedroom and get naked. To protect herself legally, she will wait until the client is naked before she undresses. Then have a good time. If you had a good time, some guys leave a tip. That is your choice! This Happened In 2002 On Walnut, Near Liberty !!!!
This happened during the Late Spring of 2002, near the corner of Liberty and Walnut. One of our Local Attorney's was on the radio talking about defending a client, and having the charges dropped over the event.
A man was walking home from work which he did everyday, and one the the white police decoys was at the corner and approached him about getting serviced. Then she tried even harder, and followed him down the street for a block, pass the bar on the left, near 14th or 15th street. After about 15-20 of trying to get him to agree, she finally got her price down to $5. He then said, here lady, I'll give you five bucks, if you need it that bad. No need for a Rain Check, just call it even. He gave her the Money and before he could get a half block away the Cops arrested him. CRAZY YES !!!!
The cops want him to plead out, but he would not and got a lawyer. The Attorney had to almost sue the cops for the tapes, even after asking for "Disclosure". The attorney was amazed after he heard the tapes, and asked for the charges to be dismissed. Of course they refused, because the Female Decoy had lied in her statements, regardless of the tape. Pressing the issue right up to Court, and over 10 plead offers for less, they finally dismissed the charges, only because Judge made them. Now, he is suing the CPD/HCSD for his arrest and jailing. That is just CRAZY .... and the man had NO Police Record, None ! They were willing to go just that far.
Oh by the way Nothing Happened to the Lying Female Officer, and the Lying Vice Squad Crew.
And to date No Apology from Anyone, for Anything. He will be getting an Out-of-Court Settlement. The amount was NOT givin. He will be able to get a New Car Now, instead of walking thanks to the CPD/HCSD.

In This Case, Report Them To The Cops!
WeedMan, in this case your friend should have made an "A" call to Hamilton Vice or the area District Police, and reported them. Believe me, enough calls or complaints, and they will put a Snatch and Grab on them, with their own decoys.
People this ain't "SNITCHIN", this is a matter of Protection. You never have to give them Police a Name as long as you are not calling 911. So make the call.
Hell, I have done it many times and will continue to. And Yes, the cops do go after them. It is an easy arrest, and helps the stats.
If I am not mistaken, the Hamilton Sheriff is HELL on Mexicans up there. If that is an illegal, he will soon be paying more money (Your Friends Money) to recross the border. Anyone Tried Backpage Instead of CL?
Seems like they have less ads and a lot less spam but more legit ads. Some look like real ASP's. Wondering if anyone has checked it out. This one in particularly looks interesting except it's hard for me to shell out 1.50 for a 44 year old woman for a 1/2 hr. She's not exactly drop dead gorgeous. Has anyone seen her?

Read what happened and learn that you should NEVER go to these length for any piece of pu--y, for any reason, at anytime, anywhere. NEVER!
It seems that we use better judgement in spending our money picking a TV, than choosing a SW service provider.
You would NOT buy a Product from a Salesperson that was rude to you, and acted like they were doing you a favor selling you a TV, or anything else, so why would you spend "YOUR MONEY" with someone rude to you.
If it don't come easy, and without strings, then "Pass It By. "
When you go through these lengths, you gave the Women the Power over your time, money, and desires. You cannot be that bad off, that you would need to let her put you through this.
What you should do with her, is to make certain the Police get a heads up on her, and she can spend extra money, she may not have trying to get away from them. PUT THEIR aZzes Out-of-Business, or make it very hard and difficult for them to do business. There are good Providers out there, who use the CL/CB/BKS/ and other publications, but if they learn they can make easy money by ripping you off, or wasting your time, and being rude to you. Why wouldn't they. They will seek the easiest method, and practice possible to get to "YOUR" money. Add Greed, and you get a whole host of other problems.
People it really ain't worth it, and when you use these Rip-Off, Rude, SW providers you In-Bold en them to do it more. If Money were easy for them to get, they'd be doing something else other than taking should a risk. And believe me, if they are taking any risk, with risky behavior, they are working with someone who will cover them, and help in the Rip-Off. You may not see them, but they are somewhere around. Be it Male or Female. Even Decent Good Providers have some means of protection. That is why you have to pay the extra for service. THEY HAVE TO PAY SOMEONE TO LOOK OUT FOR THEM.
Fella's it just ain't that hard, really. Giani is right, it will be warm soon. Rather than get ripped-off, wait. If you can't learn to keep a decent conversation and go to the area hotel bars. You can find a lot of "FREEBIES" there, and some Pro's working the Bar area. It is very low key, and off the record type of thing. Look for older men, and young to middle aged women together. You will have to do a lot of footwork, and do the research on your own.
I will agree, why are you paying 100-200 for a middle aged woman, be it for 30 or 60 minutes. Please, you can do better spending that money at a bar over drinks and food. If it works out you will have her longer that 30-60 minutes. And learn to lower your SEXUAL LOOKS standards. A lot of not so attractive women are at these bars, and are looking for just decent or nice, friendly guys to spend a night with. Bring you OWN CONDOMS. They are not easy, but they are not hard either. They may also be a little/alot over weight, or may have a few kids around the middle. They can be freaky. Don't look for Playboy Bunny Types there, because they hung at the Private Clubs. The Police can't touch them there. I went to two Parties at the beginning of December 07, and these girls were straight out of a magazine. Without an invitation, I could NEVER afford to be there, and the women were for the taking. These were Big Ballers and Shot Callers, and they Party Big Time. Check into a decent Hotel/Motel and pay the Desk Clerk/BellHop an extra 25-50 accordingly to refer you to a good provider or have her brought up to your room. Go out of town, if you are worried about your area, and people knowing you. Go to Yahoo Groups and join a few. There are some REAL DEAL SEX CLUBS, in the Yahoo Groups. I have been there and continue to do that.
HONESTLY FELLA's, it just ain't that hard. Never take shyt from any SW, at anytime, in anyway, anywhere. They know weakness when they see it, and will exploit it immediately. Learn to trust you instincts, if it stinks now it will rarely smell better later. If she is using several cell phone and numbers, she is a scammer. If she isn't then assume she is as a precautious.

Vice really does not care who they arrest and an easy arrest is just as good as a hard arrest. They really do like easy arrest. They are looking to get the one off they streets that create the most problems, and complaints.
Lastly, learn to pay less, and get more. Learn to play the game as a pair. Two of you hunting in better than one, and you will have a person to bounce ideas and problems off of. Talk as a Pair, not ride as a pair!
Read the board but take the info with a grain of salt, because it is often incomplete, on purpose. I can fill in the blanks on my own, and figure things out. It takes time, but you can easily do it too.
You have the Money, they want, thus you have the Power over them, because without your money, they can't make any. And if they are using this as their primary source of income you really have the money, the power.
In the end Pu--y is still just that Pu--y. And no Di-k excites these women, unless it is from a guy they have feeling for, and that ain't you.

These are all houses. What happened to the condo? I told her I had to turn around (which took about 60 seconds). She told me I was wasting her time and she was calling it off. This all occurred within 40 minutes of the setup call. She kept telling me I was wasting her time and she was very orderly and wanted everything to go smoothly. I just tell them to read the board and read the board of other Cities. Those Forums are often loaded with good information, good style, good warnings, and new skillz.
In a most cases "Go with your Gut Feelings". But don't be long in thinking about it. You got to be quick and if you lose her, then next time you will know better. If you learn from your past.
There are a lot of mongers out there who just don't know any better and they refuse to read around the board for info. Some people you just can't help, now. Once they have learned. THEY HAVE LEARNED. Now they will listen!
Many of they SW's out there have told me stories about the easy marks they get money off of, and ain't nothing they can do. Even the decent SW's have a story or two. Most SW's know a Soft/Timid mark when they see one, and add Money and Drugs to the mix and they can't help themselves. Don't ENABLE THEM, learn to spot the crap, and cut it loose quickly.
Alot of people won't say this, be your have to learn it for your own "Safety". Like Giani, I have my own list of Do's and Don'ts, but they are geared towards me, and someone else, may take it the wrong way, and get themselves in trouble. I have been doing this before Jackson took over the site, and before the internet even started.
I an not an old crow, but I did realize at a very Young Age, that paying a girl 10 bucks for FS, was better than Wrackin off. So I got hard earned dollars together, until I got better at getting it for free. Even with a FREEBIE, it ain't free.
