Massage Parlor Reports

Visited a Tai Chi place recently and met with gal whom I see when go to regular masseuse there. My friend was off but I had a sore shoulder and also just had difficulty with a friend nearby. I decided to go with the woman who greeted me and must admit she performed a wonderful massage; my shoulder pain was relieved and I felt better overall. I was a bit taken aback when at one point I noticed she had a latex glove on and wondered if she even knew some folks can have a severe allergic reaction to this.

She actually apologized for I guess what she might have thought was some inadequacy on her part, to which I responded she had done a fine job with me. We did consider that next time could be better, but I'm thinking that would be with the regular therapist I see here.

What concerns me some is that I left her a slightly smaller tip than usual and as I write this I feel she perhaps did her best and should have gotten what I give her partner. What do you think. ?

Hello, it does seem to be the case one user mentioned; few folks are posting here. This forum could be a robust, interesting and fun way of sharing thoughts, opinions and discussion but we need to step-up and get with it here.

I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Rt. 38 Spa. After I was asked to go to back entrance, I looked in the open door, the pleasant therapist greeted me, the one who met me up front. The place reminds me of an old saloon, you know, the kind they used to show in those western films.

I was on the way back from working at refurbishing a nearby Spa which should open soon and was achy and hot. I was impressed by the Rt. 38 facility but did not feel like making a cash run for a massage just then.

Anyone been here recently who can inform me (us) as to how the service is?? I do not want to be overly influenced by the interior décor. Thanks for whatever you might share and be well.

I do get around to Spas in area including Hand and Stone and Echo. I have arthritis and occasionally do light refurbishing work which leaves me in some discomfort. Stopped in the little cabin in the woods on the corner there near the pond on Rt. 73.

The greeting included the current fee info which the lady said was $70. Being a bit higher than average I asked why and was politely told there was no further information. The therapist closed the door on me. Would it be worth a trip back to see if the therapy here is any better and worth the extra $?

I mentioned a few therapists who seem genuinely joyful with the work they do. I find this to be the case at Hand and Stone sometimes and with one partner at the Tai Chi Place in Pine Hill.

The most enjoyable experiences I've had though were at one of the centers closest to exit 25 A off Rt. 295. I have not taken the time to go to that area in a while and would like some word from members who could have been there recently and would let us know of their experiences.

Additionally, I checked out one of the map sites for the address of that the the Spa place as it was true to what another member reported, when I called the woman who answered could not give the address clearly and of course no directions. Hello, A section of local code in Voorhees does indeed forbid anyone massaging a member of the opposite sex. A few members here mentioned this but were not sure. Be well.

Interesting note, I worked for a spa owner recently and noticed what some might refer to in old fashioned terms as a. "strapping young dude," leaving the facility. I thought to myself if guys like this are not getting satisfaction out there and having to pay for say, a massage, what chance does an old crow like me have in the real world?

Perhaps this buck just enjoys a good rub down now and then. I did not notice the auto brand he left in so not sure of his financial status. He was casually well dressed in sort of work out outfit.

Tina gives a great TS, mediocre massage, and a top notch ST; whereas CiCi does a mediocre TS, decent massage (though nothing out of this world), and a top notch ST. I have only had a TS from Yumi, but found her very pleasant and fun from the experience. I don't know who (or if) the 4th girl working right now is, so I can't comment on that.

I'm based out of DE and the only spa that I feel is worth driving to in SNJ is D3, since they provide service that is hard to find elsewhere.

I thought my typos must be getting out of hand until someone said this was odd and happened before to others. Oh well. Think you all know where I refer to now.

There are many other examples. Agree or disagree but "R U Going to fuk D girl?" is not the same as "Are you going to fuck the girl?"

I frequently work hours helping at a couple of local spas and hope I am not being taken advantage of as what I've heard a few proprietors refer to as a "big brother. " I am usually paid with 2 and sometimes only 1 massage a month.

I saw a tab for sexual addiction here but I look for it now. I am going to counselling for this and I was told I would benefit from attending a 12 step program to clean up my act. I do not look for pros out there and only pay for massages when I can; so very little action. The addiction is the inordinate amount of time thinking about what to do. Too much porn now; or even spending maybe too much time here and receiving little if any feedback.

I was married for decades to a cheating wife I forgave and am overly frustrated by encountering possible partners who have no interest in considering a long term relationship at our age (60-68). Been there done that is the usual reply. Never mind the fact the others don't want to even, "fool around" just a little. An average dude here with multiple problems in this area who recently picked up a new med, which may or may not be helping, to ease the consternation. Would like to hear from anyone else in this situation. Thanks and be well.

I remember they raised the rate from $60 to $70 probably a year ago or maybe a little longer. What can you do. I like the place, it's clean and I feel comfortable there. The girls are usually very pleasant and attentive. Rarely had a bad experience there.

When I need something on the cheaper side I go to Tai Chi in Pine Hill.

After a bit of disappointment at Tai Chi when my usual therapist was busy and I did not go with her partner, I left and thought of another place to visit. The cabin on the lake at Rt. 73 came to mind but I got a call from a friend and helped him with some errands as he depends on me in various ways, After a positive report on the 73 Spa here I could take a quick ride there tomorrow and meet the new workers. Perhaps the extra $10 dollars house fee is worth it; as we say, you get what you pay for. I will relate my experience here if I do go but have been resisting becoming addicted to these places as it gets rather costly to say the least and after a day or so that empty feeling comes on pretty strong again. I enjoyed a fine experience with Judy at Tai Chi in Clementon today. She is one of the most joyful and cheerful therapists I know. The showers are marvelous, the massage is about as thorough as could be. I was so sore from yard work and other activities; Judy relieved all my pain and I left feeling like a king. I highly recommend this establishment; you will not be disappointed. Enjoy and be well.

One of the therapists I have done a lot of work for is waiting to open her store (as she refers to spa.) She is having significant difficulties with the township and therefore is traveling what I refer to as the circuit of locations plying her services. This ranges from and. Why. To Delaware and points between so far. I wonder when she will finally settle down and open her business.

It would be disappointing if she is not able to comply with county regs. There are other places nearby but maybe opening a new spa is getting more difficult. All this after paying a significant township fee for the brief 2 page application process and approval!

In the meantime we wait to see and I stay frustrated not only because she is not nearby but I have strong feelings for her and she is too young for me in the first place. What to do? A few more posts from others would make for a more interesting experience; so come on folks what do you have to say. ?

Saw a young dude exiting a Hand and Stone with a very pleased look about him. I wondered if any of these "Legit places" ever offer any extras at all. ?

I recently learned of a new business that handles approximately 20+ customers a day. At the average $65 per customer this comes out to $390 K for just 300 days! No wonder there are so many of these operations opening; they are cash cows! Some owners I have spoken with, own or partner with 3 or more outlets.

If 3 therapist handled 7 jobs a day they would gross $84 K in 300 days, based on $40 per individual tip. I do not know if these workers receive any salary or only tips. Of course unless they have set up IRAs of some sort they would have to save much to really last into the future. If our dollars have the purchasing power I hear they do in some of the homelands of these therapists, they perhaps they are significantly better off for having worked here for what ever amount of time.

Well folks, just some fodder for thought. Seems contributions to this site for this area are slowing down from a few a month to less. I am considering dropping out for varied reasons and regret so few utilize this forum more regularly. What do you think?

Is very difficult any more in NJ, specifically an AMP. County and township reg have gone over the edge. I know this because I used to own one.

The town required state license and town business license. Inspected almost every month. Required fingerprinting of owner and workers every year.

Most often the women would sleep at spa. Town during inspections would look for sleep wear, blankets, pillows etc. Often gave out $250 tickets.

For illegal zoning infractions. Town required state I'd's or green cards and passports if not US citizens.

I sold the spa after 2 years of hassles.

I think it is a conspiracy and I might not be joking, by the commercial Hand and Stone type businesses, to run private entrepreneurs out! I stopped in at Rt. 38 Accu last month and was greeted by a very nice therapist who showed me around this interesting place with the décor of an 1800 style old west saloon. Brought a friend there recently and the woman who greeted us at back door might as well have been breathing fire. I mean if looks could kill with daggers from her eyes we would have bled out then and there. She had hair colored a odd blond and a pile of make-up. Maybe it was not a good day for her.

I mentioned this was not the best way to greet potential customers and she simply moaned Ga Buy Ga Buy Ga Buy. !

My friend purchased this spa months ago and is looking forward to opening soon. She is currently in Columbus making the circuit as I say trying to earn enough $$$ to make rent on her place. Lumberton is making it nearly impossible for her to work there. I am hoping the situation will improve for her and all who are in this trade. Some legalization issues must be addressed and solved so honest people can do what most of them want to do without harassment from varied sectors of the community which is often so hypocritical it is ridiculous. What do you think. ?

I realize I do not always review local spas here and when I do I do not include too much of the stuff some mongers do. Some of you reading this could participate more though and I would be fine with PMs so any?? You might have could be addressed. As it is now I am only seeing my comments for the most part since I signed up. My friend Amy who is making the circuit to earn $$$ for her yet to open spa nearby is now in Columbus, Ohio. I hope she is happy and earning what she needs for her rent, food and son. I look forward to her return to Lumberton. On another topic, I have been taking a medication which makes it more difficult for me to fully enjoy intimacy. I will be starting a lower dose soon and hope this helps; otherwise I will try living without the medicine. Please respond and let's more fully enjoy this fine forum.

Enjoyed giving therapist at Spa just of 295 A a full massage. It was late and her efforts on me were so so. Shower was over before it started and my massage was nothing. The finish was OK but she wouldn't let me have a look anywhere even though I had just massaged her and she was beautiful! Sorry I forgot her name but this Spa has good therapists and I do recommend it. Collected my pay at spa I assist at next day near PATCO Speedline station in Voorhees. Again I highly recommend this spa. Additionally be very careful as to what you post here as you will have a very difficult or impossible time taking it down if you want too.

Wondering why there are so few posts in this area. We enjoy looking for, visiting, and enjoying the therapy provided by some wonderful folk at comfortable spas nearby. At least doing this could be considered a hobby and at most, perhaps, a passion. I have been a member a relatively short time but have noticed other areas on NJ in this forum have far more posts than So. Jersey. We constitute a fairly large portion of the state without even considering A. C. I am curious why so few messages appear for our area. Last evening while driving down Rt. 38 passing 3 spas I tried to calculate how many clients would actually travel this road and stop at a spa on a daily basis. I probably was low as I considered 15 to 18 and realized this is maybe 6 per day for each business with perhaps a few more on weekends. One spa is closed but I've heard it could reopen soon. I had this same thought considering the spas so close to each other off 295 A, although I figure these are perhaps busier than the Rt. 38 establishments. This constitutes a number we might consider as to possibly posting here. ?

Certainly many in the area are not members and others are busy, might not have regular access to a computer or don't feel like posting. I would enjoy seeing more posts and getting PMs to be more aware of where my hard earned funds could be best spent for a relaxing, quality massage. I especially appreciate the PMs as I don't get overly detailed describing what therapists do that makes them special. This has not been the case for the most part since I have been a member and again, I look forward to perhaps some greater participation.

Please consider Zen Spa in Voorhees as a quality place to visit. I only venture into SJ for D3, because there are a couple of women that I like to see. Neither of which are currently at D3. Unless you live in the area, no one is going to go out of their way to visit a mediocre spa when it takes about the same amount of time to drive into Philly and see younger and more attractive masseuses.
