I was in CT last night around 7-8pm. Had some spare time on my hands so I did a stroll of the old stroll - first time ever. Not a SW to be seen. There's also a new take out place on a brighty lit Tyler - sad.

Those are just the Attorneys General that were involved in the negotiations. The change in policy will be in all craigslist areas, not just those listed.

Good point. Could you throw up the link to the article that said it will affect all areas? The ones I've read so far don't say that.

It does make much more sense to make the change nationally but on the other hand, why affect California, Florida, New York, Texas, Michigan, Alaska, Missouri, Alabama, Mass and Minnesota if they didn't complain.

The article I read was from the LA Times. It quoted the AG's Office there saying 'There was no reason for California to get involved. The changes to take effect will include California whether we got involved or not'.

Yeah exactly, no more wading through ad after ad of the same old shit we've been passing up everyday for the last few weeks just to find one that looks good enough to take a chance on. I'm still not worried, if CL really wanted to eliminate prostitution on it's site, they'd get rid of the section entirely not just make it harder to post. Though they may go that far eventually.

Before I start this story it's true and I don't expect it to happen again nor do I expect an increase in mongering activity in Malden.

I don't know if you went through Brockton yet but I was just there and for the first time since the cold spell started, there were plenty of them out.

Keep an eye out near the corner of North Main and Emerson ave at Rices Market and on Main from around the Hess station then up Spring st and around the block on Walnut and Haverhill back to North Main.
