Cisco, you have some good points, but there's tons of reasons why someone cannot or will not invest the time, energy, and $$$ in making a trip to a foreign country to have sex. Some of our mongering lives exist in short spaces between the rest of our "real" lives and there's no way we could get away with making a multi-day trip to another country. For others, indeed, it may be a very viable option. The issue goes way beyond getting good value for your money.

For me, it would have never been a viable option ... until the last few months. Now, because of new work/living situation, I could probably get away with it with some careful planning, and make it worthwhile.

But I'm sure there are countless guys who never could, for many different reasons, not just an unwillingness to step outside the box.

Haven't been up that way lately, but I remember some posts about LE around the place. Just wondering if anyone has checked it out lately. I'll be in the around the block in a few days and I'm not sure I need to swing by or not.

Well, this points, I think, to two very different approaches to mongering.

There is "needs based/relief" mongering, which basically says "I need a quick, cheap fuck one or two or three times a week" week in and week out, all year long. Obviously, a flight to Costa Rica/Brazil/Thailand/etc. for some (admittedly) very bargain-priced feasting isn't going to satisfy during the 50 other weeks of the year one is on domestic soil. Based on posting history, I surmise that Mr. Johnson is in this category - he like seeing affordable ladies at fairly frequent intervals throughout the year. Sex tourism simply isn't a total solution for this category of customer.

Then there is the "experiential/something-different-something-new" category of mongering, which says "I want an exceptional experience from time to time, with a lady of great physical charms and a high level of skill, and while a deal is nice, you get what you pay for and I'm willing to pay"... this customer is willing to go long periods of time without mongering, because he waits for the "good stuff" when it comes along. Often, such women actually are quite affordable (M from Holiday,Tye, Harmony etc come to mind), but when they disappear there is sometimes a very long wait until another worth seeing comes along. Sex tourism IS appealing to this customer because they can wait long periods between experiences. I fall into this category.

Then there are all the middle grounds, and most mongers are going to staddle a blend of needs-based cheap quickies and the occasional feasts.

The last time I was in Bangkok I was there for two months (on business, not exclusively as a tourist), probably saw a girl a night (high quality girls from the better gogo places, like the Kings Group clubs, pretty much 19 yo model types) generally for 2-4 hours each night (I found one favorite who always spent all night) on average for $US 50, so essentially a "savings" of $700 or so (assuming 200-250/hr in the States) per night, or $40k+ for the duration of the trip.

That more than pays for business class airfare ;)

So there is NO possible argument against sex tourism, provided we accept the limitation that it doesn't provide the kind of daily fix some mongers prefer.

For some guys it's impossible to explain to their wife that they need to go out of the country on "business" when they most likely never travel in their normal jobs / real lives. So if you can hop out of the country on some R&R, great for you. Most guys here envy you. But to almost slam them for paying for what they can get locally is pushing the limits.

Cisco I know you were not trying to slam anyone in your post, but what you suggest is just not an option for most.

You also made some good points TwistedBrother BUT for guys that been in the Navy or lived overseas etc., they should or will realize what I mean by options I also realize that whenever a monger get horny he can't go and jump on a plane BUT with careful game plan he should be able to get away a few times a year.

I always thought it would be impossible to get away on a multi-day trip to a foreign country...but a trip to the rain forest or sport fishing with the boys seemed to work. She has no interest in doing either and we had a great time in Panama.

Granted it's only good in my case for at the most once a year but it is well worth it. Just make sure that when you do go sport fishing that the girls you meet in Panama and take with you on the boat don't appear in the pictures. Let them take the pictures of you and the boys and then show them to the wife and talk about what a great wife she is to let you get away with the boys for a week.

I like the flat rate. I am not a fan of bargaining for sex. That being said, I have had fs w/ a nice hands on table shower for as little as $100 at an amp.
The $$/hour is no deal. $.5 for 1/2-hour is very competitive.. But if you are willing to spend more you should get more.

Girls - they seem to be just as hot as the amps. I have had some superstar Asians, I have the feeling the superstars show up here too. It was nice beings able to see all the girls available, never got to do that at an amp.

I have never had a problem getting two pops out of the Asian girls. You pay for the time.. She wasn't even in the room 1/2 the time. $$ would have gotten me much more at an amp. I was out of there in 30 min.

I wanted to believe these photos were real, but then I looked at the photo on this page. If you look closely, there's type in the top left of the photo. I copied it into Paint, enlarged it and...realized that its the URL for a "teen girls" web site where for $20 or whatever a month you can access and download photos and videos of teen girls. Unreal. They lifted a photo right from a pay porn site.

It's a crapload of work to constantly update "real" photos considering the high turnover rate of these providers and AMP chicks. Those Brazilian sites ain't exactly autotrader.com

It would take a truly bizarre person to put oodles of time making sure that photos are updated and "verified" for the sake of Joe Blow monger off the street who's still going to fork over the cash anyway. Also, it takes someone with a little knowledge of cameras, photo editing and Web technology to make the constant changes, anyway.

Someone with those skills would probably be out working a good job instead of lying on their back renting their coochie for cash.

The rest are stock. I was there over the weekend. Just visiting unfortunately.

I do believe that the photos that are on the eros site are real, for the most part, because I've seen them photographed while holding an eros sign with the current date for verification.

Sorry, but I refuse to do business with an agency that uses stock photos. It's not that I'm terribly offended by their fraudulent advertising, but I really do want to see what I'm buying before I make a long drive.

In the therapeutic section on Craig's, I found a health care operation (acupuncture, herbal treatments, etc) located in a nice area close to me that also offers massage. The massage ad looked a little less sterile than others in that section, so I decided to TOFTT.

The lobby was not a typical AMP - there was a man and woman waiting, for the doctor I guess. That was a little offputting. I was directed to a back room, and not allowed to chose my therapist. "Anna" was taller than average, about 30 lbs overweight, busty, maybe 40 y.o., nice but spoke little english.

There was only one option (.6 for H). She gave a decent back massage, but then spent a lot of time with a light touch on my cheeks. When I flipped and guided her hands to my sore area, she inquired. We negotiated a tip (.4) for the draping and special hand movements (mine and hers) that I wanted. She honored my request, but appeared a bit bored.

Upon completion, she hugged me and helped me dress. As I left through the lobby, still with people waiting, the doctor (in medical gown!) asked if everything was ok. That sure surprised me, as I usually like to make a hasty retreat.

All in all, was an OK experience but not great for the price. I may return but would like a different therapist.

I've bee reading this forum for just over a year now and am finally registered and making my first report. I started in the hobby about 3 months before LE moved on the Clayton Co. Joints. My first experience was at Laurel Spa and was excellent. I stuck with them and had some great times there. Yeah, I'm with ya, boss. I'd love it if all photos were accurate. Unfortunately, the more accurate the photo the higher the cost (in general). Also, on very rare occasions you can actually be surprised that you can get a provider BETTER than the stock photo.

However, these AMPS place bad photos for visual stimulation only, knowing that if they can just get us to drive over we'll still shell out the $$ dough as long as they have something available that is serviceable. It's kind of like a McDonald's commercial - that burger never looks as perfect as what you saw on TV, but you still drive down there and eat it anyway. Men are sheep - you can sell almost anything (beer, overpriced suv's, computers) buy slapping the picture of a hot chick next to it.

I drove by the old rainbow spa in jonesboro and noticed the main door was open and the sign was on and a car parked in front of the door. Anyone know if they are trying for a comeback?

I have visited a few and just said f it. But the best place I have had was on the one visit to gold which was my first experience. Then I tried the surrounding AMPs and became more and more dissappointed. I did try a latin AMP in rosewell. I do not have the number anymore. But it was in rosewell off of dogwood st. By the wendys in an apt complex. Man usually answers. I went and because I am fairly bigger and more built than little latin guys I didn't worry. I kinda just gave him the look when he answered the door that said "I'll toss you through a wall if you try something" but. Nonetheless it was great. No pressure. 3 girls offered. 2 were ok. One was FAB and tiny. So I was like. Nice. Everything was great great great. I was just scared to try another one for dissapointment like the AMPs. But. I am no longer in ATL I am in MO now.
