Monger, I found them in the phone book about a year ago. When I called, I got the recording saying this number has been disconnected. Assumed they got pinched like all the rest and moved on.

Willie was a reverse sting according to ch 3 tonight. LE posed as SW an 11 men were arrested.

A while back, one of the girls told me that Thursday night is when the LE comes out in full force.
Must be a fact.

Called "A" today, got a voice message saying they WILL be back soon.

HotRodd......That message is dated October 10th, and the same
one that's been on the machine since that date.

The one before stated that they would open in 24-48 Hrs!

Well, for a while the "mail box is full" recording was all I got. someone must be around, moving forward to reopen. Don't you think?

That indeed is a 7 week old message. There is no one there doing anything. The same ripped sign is on the front door an no cars are ever parked there day or night HotRodd.

Hey Guys,

If anyone was "out and about" along Farmington Ave on Monday around 8:30pm, did you notice to woman standing at the corner of Farmington and Marshall? I think LE was trying to work a sting there. I noticed this woman. She was white mid 20's with shoulder length black curly hair wearing a black jacket and jeans. I pulled up to talk then i noticed she had been standing there for about 10 minutes walking no further than 5 yards from that corner. I have always believed that no LE would just let a SW "camp out" on a corner.

My car was stopped by now and my radar was going off. She didn't get right into my car(another give away).. I started to pull off and she said "I thought you were stopping for me" i just told her I thought you were someone i knew" and drove off.

I never saw her get into a car, nor did i see LE either. I left for another hunting ground came back around 20 minutes later and she was gone..

Don't know if i was just parinoid being new to the scene in the area and not know all the faces the rest of you guys do.

Does anyone know if she was legit or not..

Mack....She was for real not LE. She moved from there over to Laurel St an was picked up. I was next in line an missed out. In that area they dont always move from one spot. I circled twice looking for Angie an spotted a 30 Yo latina at Niles an Sigourney an grabbed her.

Thanks for the tip. I can't believe I had the famous Angie in my sights and almost in my car and I blew it. Oh well maybe next time. I just don't want to spend the night with the wonderful Hartford PD. I tried to make up for my mistake tonight by going in search for her. No luck of course. I went up to Ashley street where it was quite busy. I settled for a cute white SW named Brandi. She had long brown hair very pretty face even better lips which she gave me a killer bbbj with for $20 when we went back to her place. But just like the other ladies i have met so far no phone number to be had.

Thur night Hartford Police arrested 35 prostitutes an johns on Ashley St an Huntington St according to 4pm WTIC news. First they arrested SWs then put in decoys to lure johns. Same thing they did twice last week for drugs. Johns cars were seized last night. Names an addresses will be posted on Hartford Police website according to WTIC.

Saw the same story at 6p.m on Ch. 30 news. They showed video of old stings and current surveillance video. Think I'll stay off the streets of Hartford for a bit.

You know...they are so damn predictable, I can almost set a clock by them.

I posted this 3 weeks ago. I think they spot tested a few spots, adjusted the plan and went for it big time. Be safe out there boys.

Let see...how many of those felons did they catch out of the top 50? Umm...8 may be? Thats erring on the positive side. Last I read, it was 3 of 50.

Yet, here they go with the reverse sting. Got's to pay the bills...so they start towing cars so that some guys are dealing with pure hell over thanksgiving.

Be safe boys. If you aren't sure...pull out and fast. The good ones will always be around again to pick up somewhere at some time. Expect a few more of these in various spots on a smaller scale.

(You know how much overtime they put into this? How about you update that database? Eh? )

This sting reminds me of my former corporate life, where the bean counters would fish for the minnows and ignore the whales. Trying to look good by trumpeting the saving of a few easy pennies while avoiding the difficult dollars.

Thanks for the clarification about Angie. Then maybe the woman I saw was LE then considering what happened on Tuesday night. I think my first instinct was right because I saw her for about 15 minutes and no one approached her. Everyone just play it safe. I really feel lucky I was on Ashley Tuesday and didn't see any cop activity (anyone being pulled over). As for the girl Brandi she was white probably early 20's about 5'6 long brown hair just past her shoulders. No glasses or backpack. She was dressed kinda bummy but had a very sweet looking face. We drove back to her apartment on Asylum near Collins. I wouldn't mind going for FS the next time I see her. She had no phone number. If these ladies atleast maintained a phone to give their customers they wouldn't be rounded up so much. I have gotten only one number from any of the girls I have seen.

This mornings Courant has 28 of the 35 arresteds name , age an town. 6 were also arrested 5 SW 1 john, on other outstanding warrants. Only 2 of the SWs were under 29. HTFD Police web page has press release an all names an addresses.
I began warning 3 weeks ago of unusual LE activity in this an Farminton Ave areas. Stopping of cars etc, 6 cars meeting at Sargeant an Garden for hours etc.
If this goes like drug stings of last 3 weeks expect a smaller scale follow up in the next 2 weeks.
The regulars will still be around only more careful.
I suggest Maple an Dutch for a while.
Mack. Woman you saw was not LE. She comes out occasionally in that neighborhood. Pattern there is to stay in small area an not walk much, just like angie.

My work and ex wife bring me to East Hartford often, I know the area well. Friday night and early Saturday afternoon, I saw something unusual. I saw 2 SWs. Not a common sight in that town.

Wonder if the Hartford crackdown has something to do with this?

Mostly I'm afraid of street action, but maybe the few, the proud, the tough can use this info.

Keep in mind that 9 or 9.99 times out of 10, you'll be wasting your time, but here is the "loop" where action is. (sometimes)

Start on RT 5 main St/ High st, near Venus lounge proceed south on Main/High give special attention to the 1st quarter mile.

Ignor Kahoots! keep going. Be careful if you find anything near Wendy's, LE parks nearby at night.

Just past the RT2 ramps, veer left (Carter ST) Eyes open here, at least 1 rehabbed ex SW lives in Apartments here. Keep veering left, this will bring you back to Main/High near 7-11.

Proceed north. A quarter mile side trip down Silver Lane is advisable.

A mile or 2 side trip up Burnside Ave is recommended too.

Eventually you'll be back where you started.

Picked up Coco on Farmington Ave. this morning (5:30 a.m.). She was walking with another good looking Hispanic female but by the time I circled around she was picked up. Settled for Coco and was not disappointed. She provided a great bbbjcim for $20. Would have done fs for $30 but I was out of cash and tired. Some LE around earlier in the night but hardly any when I picked up Coco.

I think I may have seen Joy once years ago, but not at Alpha. She had an ad in the Advocate and was working out of a nice, secluded and well appointed home in Columbia. Great location for an afternoon tryst. I remember her being very accommodating and enthusiastic, but she wasn't one of my ATFs. I would go for another visit, though, if she returned to the biz here.

I was out checking the street action in Hartford last Tuesday evening and even drove by the Ashley/Huntington corner around 8:15 p.m. Saw one young lady proudly standing on the street corner, a somewhat light-skinned black woman, maybe mid 20s, attractive, well-dressed in a nice brown jacket, didn't look like the usual struung-out ladies one often sees there. Made a second pass-by but the car directly in front of me pulled over and stopped in front of her. She walked over to the side door and started to talk with the driver as I drove by, but then I kept going and did not pay any attention as to whether she got in the guy's car or not. At the time I figured that the driver in front of me was lucky.

Then on Thursday morning I read the Hartford Courant article about the Ashley/Huntington sting (well described in previous posts) and I wondered to myself - was the young lady in the brown jacket part of the sting? and did I narrowly escape getting arrested? If so, then I have a lot to be thankful for this year!

Did ridearound to check scene out last night 915 to 1030. No LE unusual activity. Back to how it looked a month ago.
White 25 YO SW Dutch, Thick Latina Maple Ave, 30 YO white New Britain Ave, White girl with glasses Niles St. That was it for those areas. It was cold an 34.
Ashley , Huntington, Garden lots of drug dealers an 8 or 9 SW. Nothing special. Regulars no where in sight.
All in all a lot less girls walkin round than a week ago even taking in to consideration the the over 30 SWers that were arrested last Tue.
Shakedown I would not mind hooking up with Angelina also.

Anybody know if any of the alpha girls are working somewhere else ? Must be doing something to make ends meet... :)

I've seen them popping up in some interesting spots. I know at least two are working at CSC. (I also know a stripper who works there...damn...I should go find some work there myself. Lucky dogs don't know what they got going on. )

At least one is dancing that I know of locally. The owner is a regular at the Alph.

I did a date at a hotel spot in south of Hartford not long ago (Mid Movember?) with a friend (from alpha) and found out that 2 others were ALSO there...to my surprise. Incall agency stuff mostly with different clients.

I think two are doing outcall.

A few others are just doing their day gig that they've always been doing.

The funny thing is...I've been running into guys who frequent the joint at some interesting spots...they shall remain nameless. (One stepped up and said "Hi" and started talking in code about the joint and its demise while I was sitting with a bunch of co-workers out for dinner...man, I had to think fast to cover my ass on that one!
