Ghosted by Kelli (almost)
So I tried to make an appointment with Kelli a few weeks ago. We exchanged the initial texts and I asked if she was still in the same location. She responded with "how do you know where I live" and I said because we've been in each others' company before. Then she ghosted me.
Yesterday I made an appointment and told her exactly what time I'd be there. I asked her the location and she told me. (it was the same) She then texted me the moment I said I would arrive. I immediately texted her back telling her that I'm downstairs waiting outside of the building for her to let me in. She texted me back confirming that she'd be right down. 15 min and 3 or 4 text later I start to walk back to my car a block up the street. When I get in my car (now 17 min later) I text her and say "so I guess this isn't happening. " My phone immediately rang and she said she's on her way down. I said that I'm already in my car and she essentially plead with me to come back and that her phone died, yada yada. I said no it didn't, don't lie, we were texting back and forth for the past 15 minutes! I followed that with "maybe some other time" and she said okay.
There won't be another time after the sleazy looking dude that ran out of the building the moment before she called me. I don't know if it was a friend, another building resident, monger, or just a coincidence but this guy was slimy looking. No offense if it was one of you fellas but I was dressed for success and just wanted a quick release before a client meeting. I looked totally out of place standing on that block for 15 minutes. She could have lied and said she was just getting in the shower and needed 15 min and that would have been alright with me but she lied about her phone. The one she was texting me with in regular intervals! Too bad because her head game is spot-on. Next.
Peace,
Mike.
