Jeeze, $30 a date? Latino men only? There should be a law against that :)[/QUOTE]Anyone remember the Latin Palace in Maryland and DC? Way back in the day, the woman who ran it took a liking to me, and set me up on the Latin side of the business. A lot of the same girls who saw gringos for $80 in decent apartments would rotate over to the Latin rabbit-house apartments, which had 2-3 beds set up in a room, divided by blankets hanging from clotheslines. For a couple of years, I was stopping by once or twice a week for $30 short stays.
I always tipped the girls extra, and sometimes I'd flip the guy at the door a five or ten, so I was treated well. The better-looking ones made it over to the gringo side, while the not-so-great ones didn't, but for $30, I'd take the best available, and it was all good.
At some point, the people who ran it got jammed up, and when I went to the apt. , it was dead. I got hooked up to a similar operation through a backchannel connection a few years later, but it folded, and I've been out of that loop for at least 12-14 years now.
