A place just opened in my hometown. Fairly busy street. Given I am not single, is this just too risky to try in my own town? My go-to place is generally a half hour away, much more secluded. Almost no chance of running into someone I know inside or being seen arriving / leaving on the outside. Avoid, right?

Without bring a lot of attention to either of the two, I have been to both and they are both worth a visit. One is where Joanna of Newburyport and Greenleaf fame and the other new to area. Both decent AMP service at standard fare. One more discreet entrance and exit that the other but wasn't a problem for this fairly local guy.

Avoid, right?[/QUOTE]If I was married I wouldn't even consider going to an AMP in the town I lived in, that is unless you don't care about the consequences if your wife sees your car there or if one of her friends sees it, or sees you entering or exiting the parlor. That's just me, asked and answered. Good luck with your decision.

Avoid, right?[/QUOTE]Here's another awkwardness I experienced: halfway through a session at a semi-local AMP (two towns away), she asked me if I worked at Place X (in the town between). I happen to do so, but I answered in a very non-committal fashion and have not been back since.
On the other hand, at a previous job, I happened to have a (rather attractive) customer who was dealing with some paperwork. I noted that she had a rather alluring website on one of the forms. I noted the site and quietly investigated from home. I saw her several times later, and never once hinted that I had any idea of her escorting activities. (In my mind, however, I was doing a sing-song "I've seen your boobies. " And they were quite nice.) A couple of months later, I gave her a call and when she asked about verification, I mentioned that she'd been my customer a couple of times. After a brief awkwardness, that served as all the verification needed and we met up twice, to great satisfaction.
And yes, she made a hell of a lot more off the transactions than my employer did. But I am quite certain that I enjoyed my experience as her customer than she did as my customer.
It's all about discretion. The AMP attendant didn't understand that. The escort and I did. I saw her once more, when I was at a second job, and did not give the slightest sign of recognition, treating her exactly as any other customer. I think she's retired now, and quite frankly was a bit out of my price range, but I still think of her fondly -- and occasionally check to see if she's back in business.

While I used to enjoy fairly frequently, but the last time I was there I had so much anxiety about someone seeing my car or seeing me exit that I was unable to enjoy the session whatsoever. Do not think I wil ever return.
FWIW when I did go, tried to go as early or late in the day as I possibly could.

Yes, one would think after a close call with my Zumba classes back sometime ago that discretion would be the better part of valor, as they say.
That close call caused me to cancel my well known Senior ID in here and curtail hobby habits in a big way.
Now Uncle Sam had a thing about the rice paddies, it was two bridges or 50 miles and my problem is, my two bridges is like a 10 mile diameter.
So the one AMP in the more southern seacoast area is not a bad standard visit with parking off street and a side entrance which is OK.
The other one however where the gals of Mulan fame work is on a vey busy street and very visible parking. I did find that a baseball hat, sunglasses and a pronounced limp like a bad hip going into the front door may be just enough. The parking challenge is solved if you are willing to walk a couple of blocks.
Not advising anyone to try this: has worked for me.

I found that low crawling drew too much attention, so I'm still looking for sites that offer cover and concealment from the vehicle to the table and back again.

Just use discretion. Your car is more likely to give you away than your looks. Put on a RS cap, sunglasses and plain jacket and you'll just half the other guys walking around. People don't tend to notice each other nowadays b / c they don't pay attention.
Oh get a silver minivan, no bumper stickers there are a million of them. Went to get in my car the other day and found a kid. Yep two silver minivans right next to one another and I went to get in the wrong one. Luckily I was at the bank.

They're in NH but post in Maine. Kinda sick of the Mulan crowd. They had one young girl there who was great a few months ago but she left after a week. Everyone is old now and all skin and bone.
Opted to try Exeter upon input from another hobbyist. He described older woman and ok time.
Staff must have had some additions as there were two and I got Candy. Standard AMP fare and fee 70/40 and OTC allowed and appreciated, Candy is a young spinner who enjoys her job.
