First all the girl in real life is skinny young black and has braces. She was very nice on the phone but she really duped my friend for about 300 dollars before she did anything. She got mad he did not want to play anymore so she talked trash to all of us saying we were broke and a disgrace. This girl is definitely not worth the price.
What do you think the outcome would be
It depends what you mean by ripped off. If you gave her money and she didn't have sex with you then you're out of luck. The police or hotel security won't help you there. But if she was in your room and she stole something that belonged to you then yes, you can call hotel security.
What are they going to charge you with? Solicitation of prostitution? The girl would have to be wearing a wire in order to prove that. All you have to say is you thought she was a civilian / tourist and the two of you went back to your room and she robbed you. The police and hotel security know what goes on in this city. They DON'T want to arrest tourists for picking up hookers. They might try and scare you so you don't do it again. But think about it, they have illegals on nearly every corner of the strip handing out cards for escort services. If the city really cared they would pass a law making it illegal for them to do that.
If you are single, you may go ahead and report it. If you are married, no way.
If she rips you off, what do you think the outcome of reporting it will be. By the time LE or hotel security comes by, she is long gone out of the hotel. If she is working with a team, like a pickpocket she has handed off your Rolex to her manager or someone else, so if she gets stopped its not on her. Of course, most are not that smart.
The odds of getting your possessions back are nil. And making a police report if your married is not a great idea. Now if you need to get the item back, Try the pawn shops the next day. If its your wedding ring, you may be able to buy it back for a low cost.
Never take to Vegas (or on any foreign vacation) an expensive watch etc.
Its easy to cancel your cell phone, or make up a story about your watch. My friend told his wife he had no idea what happened. He was playing cards, drinking and when he got back to his room it was just gone. Did know if it was stolen, or fell off or what. He got a little heat. He made a report to another major hotel, ( not the one where the deed took place) and filed a lost watch report .
Now, anyone have a good excuse for what to say if your wedding band is gone, and you never take it off? If your going to play, that should be locked up in the safe, or hidden.
For the payback, I have the answer, but can't post. PM me if interested and you are a a frequent poster. No one time wonders.
