Thought this was a forum about pussy.
This is not new. Fear and distrust are on both sides of the argument of racism. Then you have the drum beaters and pot stirrers that will not let anything go, even if they are proved wrong. Crime is not a racial problem, it is a societal problem. I've always had a problem with how people complain so much but do nothing to change anything. You have an issue with abortion? Look at who you voted for and see how they stand on it, (just a side note, Democrats vote for abortion and they target minority voters that are usually against abortion, WTF?) They change the laws and how the law works. You have an issue with crime in your neighborhood, then do something about it. Look at the people that screw up a good time for the SW and AMPs. They are at least doing something about what they deem wrong.
Maybe if more of the people that ***** and moan, but sit on their asses and do nothing about these problems actually took a stand things might get better. I don't mean protest, I don't mean riot, I do mean get your voice heard. Sharpton is not the cure, Jackson is not the cure, bitching that people are targeted because of the color of their skin is not the cure. The real cure is to see people for who they truly are, regardless of color.
I absolutely can agree that

No one can judge either side as both sides are wrong. All people of all races commit crimes. Even the ones (crimes) that don't get the media press. I think providers should screen a certain way and have a certain criteria of who they will see such as AA men over a certain age and even white males over a certain age because it's mostly about the maturity factor not the color factor. That's why some girls, even black ones will at least say no AA under 30 or 40 or whatever their comfort level is; but to say "no black males" period is a little ridiculous! But hey, they can write what they wish and feel how they want to feel and I'll just keep my donation anyway! What they won't do, others will!
BTW, I voted for neither dems or repubs because I feel they are the same group with different names or titles. One thing has been consistent with both parties and that is the poor continue to get poorer and the rich richer so I have no confidence in any of these clowns. Our entire political system is a joke! When corporations can buy off politicians and make them vote in a way that is to their advantage, then we have a frucked up system. There's a reason Americans can't go over into Canada to buy their prescription drugs wayyyy cheaper than they do here in the USA! Why, lobbyist for pharmaceutical companies make sure their cronies vote in a way to prevent us from doing so! Then they got a nerve to talk about it's because it isn't safe. A lie!
And let me clear something else up, I wish people stop mentioning Sharpton, Jackson, etc- I never saw where they were appointed the savior of the AA community. If the AA community want to improve their lives, they must take charge and do it themselves and this has nothing to do with these characters. Not only has these 2 not done much to advance the AA community, but political leaders in general haven't either! So what black folks need to do is seek self-improvement. Period!
Sir, if I understand you correctly
Are you kidding me?
What part of "I am not specifying what crimes get media attention but ALL crime stats. " did you not understand?
How dare you try to tell me what I was referring to (incorrectly) and the whole readership that I am saying the exact opposite of what I said? Are you sure you are not a Liberal Democrat? Maybe you should run for office? Gimmie a break. Thanks Admin for this board, but I think I am done.
You appear to be saying that AA are guilty of committing most of all crimes and this is a bold face lie and you have no data to back this up and even if you provided a website with this so-called correct info, it still does not take into consideration that a lot of crimes go unreported. To say the stats show AA committing most crimes is ridiculous. Let's take away the media exposure piece then but instead focus on this fact: All people of all races commit crimes, whether it's stealing, killing, lying, cheating, buying poo-tang or selling it, drugs, driving drunk and the list goes on. Sorry you're getting your undergarments in a bunch over this matter. You should calm down. We should be able to have a discussion about the issues. One of the reasons most issues in this life never will get resolved is because people cannot have a healthy discussion anymore. Instead, they get pissed off when someone does not buy their side of the story. Listening to what others have to say can be healthy and offer varying viewpoints instead of that isolated thinking or tunnel vision most people have. No one wants to discuss anything that might persuade them to change their position on certain matters.
And no, not a liberal nothing but what I subscribe to is the fact that right is right and wrong is wrong, no matter what title one calls themselves. Let's look at what is right; what is true; what is factual; what is good for the nation- the whole nation, not just for certain groups. And I can't run for office until the silly folks of this nation begin to understand what is right and wrong; otherwise, you will put forth solutions to problems that are proper and foolish folks will never see the good in it! It's like people saying providing healthcare for everyone is a bad thing; well, I won't get into this topic because it will take too much time to explain but suffice it to say that the current system of using the emergency room to take care of the uninsured is not working and is costing USA Tax payers too much money. Anyway, didn't mean to offend ya just thought we were having a man to man or grown-up discussion. However, believe what you will about AA committing an overwhelming number of crimes compared to their counterparts but while you contemplate this line of thinking, know that if we are talking about crimes in general, everyone is guilty!
Man, you said a mouth full
I haven't heard anyone say that the providers don't have the right to sell it (or not sell it) to whoever they choose. So the real controversy here is whether it's "racist" for them to advertise that they will not see AA men. OF COURSE IT IS. The providers are saying in essence that for whatever reason -- whether because they were ripped off or beaten by an AA man or because they grew up with parents who wore white hoods on the weekend -- they believe all AA men are cheap, dangerous, or whatever. Believing that all members of a race share the same characteristics is the definition of racism regardless of WHY you believe that. Denying that these providers are racist because they have a reason for their racism makes you sound ignorant and racist.
That said, why does anyone give a shit if the providers are racist? On average, the providers are some of the dumbest, least educated, least skilled, least influential, and most powerless members of society. They are almost all habitually addicted to drugs. They make their living (such as it is) through criminal activity. It makes you sound petty and race-obsessed to complain about the stupid attitudes and biases of such people.
At the end of the day, let them be ignorant!
I not sure you understand the point here
So if I don't want to see black women am I a racist? Why are we so quick to label people! Sometimes it just boils down to personal preference's. I've actually had this discussion once with a provider I was seeing, I have a black friend that was interested in seeing her, she said black guys just weren't her thing. She also told me she had refused to see guys that we're over weight, I guess that made her prejudice against fat people! Really this discussion in pointless, whether their racist, I'm sure some are, or they just don't care for dark meat does it really matter? JD.
We are not talking about girls who are not attracted to black men. If this is the case, I cannot blame them for it is a preference thing. What we are talking about is girls who discriminate against men of color because they deem us to all be alike; that is, thugs, pimps, gangsters, or criminals. This is what pisses people off. Why? Because some of us have worked very hard to separate ourselves from these negative characters (black or white). It's not fair to throw us in the same category. I bet if they needed a transplant (heart, lungs, kidneys, etc.), they wouldn't be concerned about someone being a thug, pimp, gangster, or criminal. Anyway, I agree with this one thing that you said, it is pointless but not for the reasons you mentioned. Some of us are professionals in our personal lives and we've worked hard to achieve these things and we deserve respect. Most white people even tell blacks to pick themselves up by the bootstraps, go to school, and work hard but when we do, you still want to label us and throw us in the same category as those other punks!
