This past Wednesday I hit AZ Spa motivated by the glowing reports. All began well as I met Andy (I think she meant Amy but her minimal English skills created a bit of confusion in translation) who had a cute body with well proportioned parts. The massage was conservatively performed for the standard house house fee for one hour with no teasing. Andy does deserve some props for a quality performance as she demonstrated skills in the art of massage.

On the flip the negotiation began in earnest. I offered $120 for a complete service package. She countered with, "you give me more money". I repeated my offer on a take or leave it basis that she continued to reject while trying to keep the original offer in place with a reduced service package. My mood rapidly deteriorated and I put on my clothes, gave her $40 in recognition of the massage quality and left never to return. I do hope the AZ Spa Mamasan counsels the ladies on the value proposition offered. Fortunately, there are more reasonable alternatives available.

Just curious, has anyone ever taken a lady friend to one of the local places for a "couples massage"? Would they be cool with you and your lady enjoying each other either with the masseuse in the room or for a few minutes after she left? And, if this kind of thing is a possibility, which place would you recommend? Thanks.

If she wants too much, fine, but the "nuh uhh you tell me first" thing was really annoying. Ended up paying too much and won't go back. I had virtually the same experience as described by two other posters with Andy at AZ. She's quite young, quite pretty, and a real hard-ass when it comes to squeezing every last dollar out of you. Also, what would you guess is her age? If this figure is correct, that would put her in the ballpark for local rates, unlike the other professional negotiators I've seen at AZ. Sasha was reportedly out of town for a week when I called, and was talked into seeing Amy, but I was told Sasha is returning soon.

As a side note, I consistently have my best experiences at Rain and 9 Spa. Usually pretty gals, usually with good, personable attitudes. All within the context of the limitations imposed by management. Also, the price is fixed, which is nice. The only down side is that my favorites (Joyce, Yu Yu and Tina, in that sequence) are typically here for a time and then ship out, never to return. Although the lovely Tina is supposed to come back in February.

If you frequent the parlors and have seen some of these women, you will have a sense of the kind of experience that I enjoy. If you have any suggestions for others whom I should meet, please feel free to post or pm me. Like many, I suspect, I no longer even bother with escorts. Too many unknowns, too many unpleasant surprises. We may be experiencing peak AMP for Tucson. Certainly a world of difference from a few years back.

The sign had noted they would reopen Jan 10th. I drove by and the light was not on, but returning someone was taking gear inside.

If you pay for one hour and 30 minutes into it you flip and they want to much, just tell them to finish the legit massage for another 30 minutes and tip them 20 bucks. They were only running it as Blue Moon for about two months, and they must have spent a bundle on the postcard mailers and new signs inside. Unless it was some kind of personal emergency, I bet the landlord got wise to what was going on there and kicked them out under for breaking the lease terms. The owners weren't exactly trying to keep their services a secret. When you hear of a place suddenly closing, this is almost always why. It what happened to Ocean Spa on Speedway (where Life Spa is now) and also to this place in the shopping center at Oracle and Orange Grove a few years ago.
