Had a visit with Tracy at her Indian Harbor Beach residence. It was a safe and non-conspicuous abode. After I got comfortable I asked about her donation, she told me $$. I was little taken aback but I was too much of a gentleman to haggle about the cost. The dream was ok but nothing to write home about.
You can still be a gentleman while saying, "Hey, sorry. I only brought $150. I should go. " See how fast $150 is perfectly fine.

I just saw her last week and it was 80/160.
Much like selling a car, they are offering a product and will try to get the most the market will bear. You can always say that you have been a good customer and would appreciate honoring your previous rates. She can say, sure. Or can say no, my new price is what it is. The value to this lesson is that enough rejects on the tested new rate will bring it back to market price, or her business will suffer. 2 paying customers at 200 do not beat 3 at 160, that is just plain math.

Visited for hr for 80 but stayed for an hour. She didn't mind and has great tits and nice personality but is a bit heavy for my preference. That being said I'll see her in the future on occasion.

I am not the greatest negotiator but I always try to negotiate the rate for their time in advance. Think about it, once you are there you are at their mercy. Admittedly she may try to hustle / upsell from the negotiated rate but at least you don't show up to a smack in the face rate. The only other good alternative is like Bill says. Hey this is all I got take it or leave it. If you are repeat customer and she pulls this, she probably doesn't like you, compared to her other customers.
Also there has been a lot of talk about high prices and what the market will bear. Some girls strive at being low volume providers, so they keep their prices a little high, so when you blast them for being too high by comparing them to the revolving doors on STG you are comparing apples to oranges.

I've always wondered about the sugar babies. They command significantly higher rates, so I thought I'd give one a go to see if it is worth the extra. I contacted one on Seeking Arrangement after posting a fake picture of myself and pretending to be very rich. I made it clear that I only wanted dates and not a regular allowance, so I probably didn't attract the real gold diggers. Anyway, this one reached out and looked okay so I gave her a call. Wanted 2. 5/3 for a "session". I asked how long was a session, hoping it would be a couple of hours. But it was about 30 minutes, but I could negotiate for longer. She quickly realized I was going to hang up and offered 2 for an hour at a hotel I had to pay for. So I went for it.
The first thing you note is that these girls are not idiots and actually talk properly and text articulately. Usually when I set up something like this, I'm lucky if the girl even bothers to tell me she'll be two hours late. But this one promised to arrive on the dot, and did! She drove herself. We sat and talked for a while because I was interested in learning more about the babies, before moving to the bed. I'll give her this, she tries to please. Perhaps too much and some of the feedback sounded a bit forced, which is a turn off. Her body was no better than you find locally. She wasn't really fat, but definitely heavier than you'd expect at that donation level. I soon realized the problem with ultra low volume is that they don't have much experience and the hand work was sub standard and no cim. Frankly, I don't understand why they have such a high opinion of themselves, and they think being a baby is different than an escort. Unless I could continue to haggle the price down, I wouldn't repeat. She is the same price as Selah for an hour, but Selah provides the hotel room and vastly superior service. Worth it as an experiment, but not for me down the road.

Yes, they initially get more money, but expectations are raised and reviews go down. $$ is simply too much for an hr of anyone unless they are pretty spectacular.

She told me that she was going to be picking up a friend from another city to move her to IHB to get away from an abusive boyfriend. She was trying to get extra donations to help support her friend. Another time, I had a nice conversation with a provider to ask about available times. I subsequently called and left a VM indicating I wanted to make an appointment and also mentioned that I wondered about her rate for a "massage session". She never answered my calls after that. So I don't mention rates anymore and won't set something up not knowing. If I can't get a pretty good idea about rates from a forum like this or maybe a PM as I've also done, then I won't pursue them.

I almost always text. More often than not I get an answer. If not, oh well.
Like you, I need to know how much they want before I spend my time driving to them.
