One would be that she actually shared a number with a provider she was either rooming with or doing doubles with and the second would be because the number was let go and recycled.

Let me explain that second one in more detail. The large majority of providers, (and a lot of us mongers) use some kind of burner app. There are only so many burner apps with only so many available numbers in each city. You get assigned or choose a number when you sign up and install these apps from the pool of available numbers in whatever area code you choose. Sometimes a provider or a monger will release those numbers, (or lose them) and those numbers go back into the available pool of numbers. So if one provider happens to get some bad reviews under her name and number, she can just change her name and release that number and get a new one. Now that number goes back in the pool and someone else will get it. Another scenario could be that the provider takes a break, (or gets arrested) and doesn't use the number for a while. If she is using the free version of the app that number gets taken back after a certain amount of time not being used and is put back in the pool of available numbers again. So there is actually a pretty good chance that different providers have shard the same burner number and even a chance that us mongers have shared the same number at some time.

That being said, I am not trying to change your mind about this provider in any way, but I am saying that it should not be a deal breaker in todays world. I personally follow the picture trail instead of the number trail, but to each their own my friend. I am just offering an explanation since I personally know this provider is legit and have seen her several times already.
