Yeah, Seeking is a mess these days. General confusion as to what is a Sugar Baby. Sugar Daddy RELATIONSHIP. Escorts looking for Johns, Johns looking for naive girls to pump & dump, OF and content sellers looking for subs, scammers looking for "money upfront" scams, etc, etc, etc. Oh and not to mention the few that buy the "marketing" on the requisite rebrand that Seeking is now "just" a dating site.
These days it pays to be selective, sort and screen. I guess there are guys who go with the position that they should message each and every profile that is out there, as it's a numbers game. But that sets one up to be hit up by the content sellers, rinsers and scammers. I guess if one has unlimited time, then that's AN approach. Also, one who does this probably is sending some "generic" cut & paste message to each and every girl out there, messages that are easy to detect and get ignored.
What works for me is this:
1. Setting my profile as private. Thus scammers can't see it and message first. BUT, anyone I approach can see the profile and respond.
2. Set limits on the distance I am willing to travel. After all unless one goes there on bidness, is one really going to drive 2-hours to DC regularly to meet with a girl?
3. State in the profile that you are unwilling to travel over XYZ time or distance.
4. Use the search function and the filters provided. I have certain physical criteria and other filters and set those up for saved searches in several age ranges. Why look at "everything" when certain things are a non-starter.
5. Be different than "most guys" and actually READ THE GIRL's PROFILE. I use that to decide if she's a good fit, sounds like she know what she's doing, etc. So many pretty faces that are as dumb as a doorknob or with an entitled attitude. NEXT!
6. Once someone crosses one of my pre set, personal boundaries, I block the profile and move on. Life is too short to try to convince girls to have a different view, etc. I don't waste any time arguing with them, nor cursing them out or trying to "get even" when they act badly. I Just move on.
7. I do a few "getting to know you" and "introduce myself" emails on Seeking and if things are positive, get offsite to my burner / app number ASAP. I try to avoid any discussion of P2 P, money, sugar or the other "code" words as to avoid getting profile banned by the BOTs.
8. Try to set up a Meet & Greet withing a week or 10-days of offsite chatting. M&G is a platonic, unpaid meeting to see if there is chemistry, evaluate limits and perhaps negotiate PPM. Any girl who insists on a paid M&G is an automatic NEXT! Not going to argue or try to convince someone as this is rinser behavior or entitled stuff a girl learned off of TicTok. Now that said, as a nice gesture, I do provide a "gift" at the end of the M&G for those I wish to continue with. (Usually on the order of 10-50% of agreed PPM.) I never tell them I am gifting and if she asks she doesn't get. I do offer to provide gas money or an Uber / transportation if she needs it.
9. Finally, and this is KEY: I frequently go to CostCo and buy the Jumbo box of patience to nip on while filtering, sorting, scanning profiles on Seeking.
It's a jungle out there! Have a plan and patience and there is a reward at the end!
