Like I wrote in the "NOVA" boards, it's been a pretty meh summer on Seeking with way more duds than good times. That being said, I did find two SBs who will remain in my rotation for at least another few months. While both are a bit of a drive for me, the fun times had from both & at a reasonable PPM proves to me that Seeking hasn't gone completely tits up yet. Sure, it's laden with more flakes, scammers, and bots than in the previous several years combined. No question about it. But despite this, there's still fun to be had if you're patient enough & keep putting in the work.
So for now, I'll share the duds and will eventually share the aforementioned good ones later this year. Remember, stand your ground when it comes to your hobby budget & know when to walk away if their demands are over-the-top or unreasonable. Just as they've got standards, it's okay to have some of your own.

When asked about her expectations, she said she preferred everything covered & wanted 700 PPM. I immediately countered with 500, which is unlike me to do for CFS, especially for an unknown. But she politely held firm at 700, so I said I'd have to think about it. We amicably went our separate ways, then I texted a few days later wishing her the best. She regularly takes down her page then reactivates it, possibly to avoid the barrage of incoming messages. Really bummed it didn't work out as she really is shockingly gorgeous.

Really enjoyed our banter & she seemed pretty comfortable around me while talking about her family & life goals. Since she couldn't stay longer than an hour that day, we agreed to meet the following week at a hotel closer to my place. My guess is she wanted to avoid running into her classmates & coworkers. However after I texted the day before and day of our supposed meet, crickets. I waited a couple weeks before texting again then shot a message via Seeking. Next thing I know, I saw I got blocked. So I'm unsure what changed or went down to cause that abrupt about-face, but that's the nature of the game sometimes.

Her next two messages were literally "what's your allowance" and "when and where," telling me she's either a pro or is one of those really jaded SBs. Still undeterred, I suggested we meet at a Starbucks in Silver Springs since that was the location listed. On the day of the meet, she was still giving off this aloof manner with shortly phrased messages, each one making me rethink this whole situation altogether. The final straw was when she finally decided to string together more than the usual four-word replies & wrote two paragraphs explaining how the day would work. First, she claimed the Starbucks I chose was no good (even though it was what we agreed upon the week prior). She apparently resides in Aspen Hill & complained about needing to take a bus or Uber to get to the one I suggested. Then she said she doesn't do sex on the first date. All of this right when I was literally about to leave my place & drive to her supposed area. I then asked if there's a reason none of this was conveyed earlier. After pointing out her hypocrisy of "disliking fake people and valuing common sense" when she herself is engaged in the same bs she supposedly loathes, I blocked her. Chances are she'll carry on without a care in the world while thinking of me as some unreasonable asshole who simply doesn't understand her. I'll just never understand those types of women who's mentality is that their time is somehow more valuable than mine or that they can play these sort of games without repercussions. So seriously, don't waste your time with her. She's not worth it, and it would do her some good to hit a brick wall of silence. And if anyone still feels like rolling the dice, be my guest but don't be shocked if it backfires or winds up being a disappointing experience as a whole.

There are other reports about her from back then. Yeah, all my dealings with her (read: getting fed up with her within 3 messages) was that she behaved like an asshole from word one as well.

Lately, I've been finding a lot of these SBs rush to say they've got no limitations before springing it on you the day of the meet (or once you're in the bedroom, which admittedly gets old).
After someone mentioned earlier that it's the same chick that went by "Wallyra," I vaguely remember messaging someone by that name years ago when she lived near Waldorf or some other small town. Didn't realize it was the same one from back then, but the attitudes match up. Back then, she wrote that she wasn't interested & I wished her well. Her parting shot was literally "whatever. " Alrighty then.
As for her being jaded because of jerks, that seems heavily ironic. I get some SBs have some bad experiences & are probably more guarded in future meets. No problem there. But I'm telling you man, I was almost overly-polite and really bent over backwards to make that initial meet more convenient & comfortable for her. Hell, I was willing to drive 40 minutes out of my way to any public spot of her choosing, planned shit 4 - 5 days out, and agreed in principle to a PPM. But the moment she sprung all those conditions up literally as I was walking out the door of my house? Then acting like I was at fault for failing to communicate when she only conversed in 4 -5 word sentences beforehand? Yeah, that got on my nerves.
But it is what it is. After pointing out her backwards logic, I wished her the luck then blocked her. God knows she'll need plenty of it if she relies on the app full-time & continues on like that.

When a young woman takes a big trip they can't help but talk about it. Same is true for many people. Older then she claims. Guessing late 30's. Was open to anything I wanted. Was a bit too clingy for my liking. Was a one and done with that one. Damage was 3 and she wasn't worth it.

This year got off to a shitty start, so I'm happy with how this summer has been going so far. Last month, I managed to meet two new SBs who really got me re-thinking Seeking's demise. Both are great times in their own way, and I was going to keep both in my backpocket so to speak for a few more months. But I've changed my mind for various reasons.
First off, it's getting completely out of hand how we've let GPS run rampant in this region. Traveling overseas for a month really opened my eyes at how easy it is to find a woman who's an easy 9 or 10 in both the looks & personality department. Couple that with their asking price amounting to a [I]fraction[/I] of what's being asked in the DMV? Yeah, it's time to take a step back, save up for next year's travels, and wait for reality to set in for some of these Stateside women.
I get that not everyone can leave the country on a whim, particularly if you've got familial obligations or work responsibilities. But if you're able to do so, I highly encourage it. Both SBs written at length below have their pros and cons, so I leave it to you to make your own judgment. As for me, I figure it's best to move on and stick with my last remaining regular. Though perhaps I could weather the spotty comms of the last SB, but it's unlikely. Best of luck.
