Sunday morning around 1 AM they were over on Beach. I went through there after getting gas at that cheap gas station at Orangthorpe and Valley View. The notice reads something like," this vehicle was seen repeatedly driving in an area known for prostitution on this day and in this time frame". It is addressed to all registered owners of the car, hopping that the wife / girlfriend opens the letter. I know several lawsuits started over the matter, but never heard how they turned out.
The shame letters are fairly rare thankfully. I do not believe the neighborhood watch people are doing this in Santa Ana or someone would have posted about it. The only other scenario is that the cops could enter you in their data base and harass you if you are stopped in the area. I doubt the cops will bother. In most cases LE only cracks down when they receive orders from their superiors. This why there was few if any cops where all the girls were congregating.The good thing is that the girls are finally moving around.

Yes LE has become very aggressive in recent years. So the most you should say to them is offer them a ride unless you know them. Was out on Harbor last Thursday. There were a lot of hot girls out, including the usual WSW blondes who won't look at or talk to you when you pull over. I guess they just like standing out on the street. Next!
