That Euro MT he inquired about has ad-verted on CL, BP, Anywhere, just about any site you can think of, for years as a bargain massage. The lucky client is rewarded with a trip to her basement, a chilly environment (basement air), a less than friendly therapist (no conversation), and utterly ix-ney on the ex-ney. It isn't worth the drive out to the western burbs, the hunt for the residence in a multi-family enclave, nor the service. It all sucked. Check out some legit Euro spa's on the north side and NW side if / when they re-open. This MT seemed to have earned her stripes and personality at the gulag in the old country.
Agree with everything this posted stated. She has been around for years. I've seen her about 5 times and the service is always the same. The last time I saw her was when I actually hurt my shoulder. When I went, I asked if she'd focus on that. NOPE! She did for about 30 seconds and moved on. She she can't even do that right. Like the poster said, you're better off going to a legit place.

Stopped by the Cove today and no open sign on, door locked, no answer on the phone and no car parked in back. Wonder if she went back to Korea for good.
I should have listened to my gut and prior reviews and not have gone. But I thought what the heck at least I can get a good massage. Based on reviews, I thought a LV1 was a least on the table.

So I stopped in yesterday. Girl who greeted me was wearing a mask. Said I would have to keep wearing mine. Not interested in that so I said no problem, I'll just leave. She said OK, don't need to wear it. She gave me a temp check with a forehead thermometer. All good. Went to the room and got ready. She came in and was now also wearing a face shield. What I didn't notice until she started is that she was also wearing gloves. So weird and not very relaxing. Was tempted to leave but embraced the weirdness of it as an experience. Good massage and standard finish on the flip. Not interested in going back until gloves and masks are gone.

Even when she does the front and gets close and I was clearly sporting, nada. I tried the groom route, where she has to actually handle you, and it was still very clinical. She's nice, and her space is clean and pleasant, but it's a non-starter if you want more.
Lucy is back at The Cove but is only seeing known clients for awhile. Go early before the outside restaurants open up next door. Awesome time.
Reading some of these reports has me scratching my head. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
