They are open as of yesterday.
I wasted an hour drive to go to Mardi Gras to have a boring time.
I wasted an hour drive to go to Mardi Gras to have a boring time.
If you're mentioning Mardi Gras as Ruby's, it's very hit or miss. You have to know someone there for extras.
Stopped by Ruby's to see if it was open and it was closed. Google search said the place was temporarily closed but their website says otherwise. They do have a sign on the door indicating patrons must order food, wear a mask, and get their temperature taken. Bummer.
I saw a post about Ruby's being open but I can not confirm that.
That mean PM and BC open too?
They are open as of yesterday.
I went there to Ruby's yesterday (Monday) around 4 pm, but it was closed. Do you know when they are open? Days / hours? Thanks.
That mean PM and BC open too?
News story on WTIC radio this AM says they are going to "crack down" on bars masquerading as restaurants. Nice. They make you get a food license then you get called a faker when you use it.

How I understand it, there are no bars in CT, just cafes and restaurants. They want it both ways.

Don't know which bars, but the State is serious. They are inspecting everyone and closing them down. They are not fucking around with only giving warnings.
That mean PM and BC open too?
I checked PM today. It was closed.

I'll buy one of the girls some lunch, do my deed and split.

They'd still be limited in the number of people allowed to enter and any backroom infraction would shutter them for good. Their business model is bar. Loud, crowded, and drunk. It is not walk in for free and quietly read the paper with your coffee. As CTGuy points out, the Fuhrer and his inner circle dictate and interpret the rules. They decide compliance and as Dems they are not business friendly. Hell, they are fining individual people thousands for travel non-compliance:

I hear you and I'd love for things to be what they were but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
I called them last night and they said they are not open, from how he said it I don't think they will be open any time soon.

Seems like they'll be called the Platinum gentlemen's club. And with how things are going, they should be open based on when bars will open. I miss Rumours tremendously. It's the best spot I've ever been to for extras.
