Based off reviews here, I decided to go see Andy at Bamboo. Drove down from the LA area. It was a bit out of my way but the reviews for Andy were sufficiently positive that my curiosity was piqued. The parlor is very close to the F&C chain, that was popular in the 80's. Recently, that franchises decided to break away from the parent company and is operating as an indy restaurant.
