Wisdom
I'm not a lawyer but:
1. I never negotiate. If a masseuse starts down that road I just don't talk. I usually get what I want. Remember, the masseuse usually turns the lights waaay down toward the end of massage, so cameras may not do well. And i believe ifrared cameras are conspicuous. Microphones, however, will work.
2. I do look around the room for cameras while she leaves me to undress. I got caught once by the masseuse returning while had a picture frame in my hand trying to rehab it. She laughed and said "very good! We don't want any bugs!" I've always felt a little paranoid doing it but not anymore.
3. Do not EVER admit to anything, even an HE. You came to get a massage and did. I have a bad back. I'm not interested in anything else. I see Asian masseuses bc they are the best trained.
If you watch the television shows filmed in hotels on Polk county attempting to bust prostitutes and backpage users, the never prosecuted Johns who did not admit to anything.

Not only would I not admit to anything, I wouldn't say ANYTHING to the police, not one fucking word. Talking to the police will never help you. Everyone in this hobby should watch this vid by a law professor if you haven't already:

The Johns
Many good reasons why LEO took so long to close the AMP. They mention trafficking as the reason. But as one monger said if that is case why wait 8 months. They should go in there quickly to save the girls but they did not. The reason is very clear. LEO knows there is no trafficking. They just say this to get media coverage. The real reason for 8 months to get as many Johns as they can. Sure they arrest the AMTs but they want the Johns more. 100 or 200 arrests makes their arrest stats high and keeps their court system busy. As they say, follow the money. It may sound untrue but think about it. They can get allot of Johns in 8 months. The AMTs can come later. They are not going anywhere. Just my opinion.

The exact scenario you described happened in quite a few of the Martin County cases and microphones were not used there. You can read the full details of the arrest reports online.
In regards to point 3 none of these guys were questioned. They visited the spa and a few weeks / months later LEO is at their door with warrants because there is hard video evidence and surveillance from inside and outside the spa.
Also I'm sure for most of us we really shouldn't be worried if some lawyer can get us off. The bigger impact is just being named in something like this and the impact they have financially, professionally, and on the family. The legal process is just background noise.

Observations
From what I can see, the treasure coast operations lasted a long time but the actual surveillance was only a small part of it. The Jupiter police report someone posted earlier shows they started their investigation in October so it was a five month investigation. But the actual surveillance of the "johns" was only 5 days long. Also there is no audio just video and many of the Johns who are now being prosecuted paid for a massage, there appears no negotiation and they get a HE only. This is pretty scary, they are going after these guys for soliciting prostitution with no apparent solicitation! It's just assumed based on the results, not sure how this will go down in court it I'm guessing most will agree to diversion program since it makes sense financially and criminally. But you're now labeled a perp and you're dragged through the mud. This is very scary stuff!

But it doesn't matter how dark that room gets a camera will get everything. Cheap home systems now have good night vision for up to 100 yards.
I always prefer using CC, I feel like you just have an extra well Visa obviously doesn't think anything criminal is going on here. That's one of the things that worried me about BO. The best places always seem to be the least discrete which kind of sucks. I think I stopped at the place in Vero a couple years back, didn't see anything I liked though and left.

Not Worth It Now
For what (little) it's worth. I'm dropping AMPs for now. Let's face it, for most of us, this is always a calculated risk. The risk, just went up. It's like a blackjack table that only pays even money on blackjack, just makes your odds a little worse. But with enough hands, over time, even if it's only 5% worse it adds up. If our risk of exposure at an AMP goes from 1% to 2% or 3%, you're rolling the dice on every visit, sooner or later you lose no matter how unlikely. I agree with the other commenter, the legal issue is minor. It's a misdemeanor. But the risk if you have an SO to explain this to is far more consequential.
Hopefully, over time, this trend will lay down and I can return. Have always enjoyed GG and BO.

Loose lips sink ships
This actually makes me feel better. These guys basically gave the police exactly what they wanted. They confessed to the activities. Guys if you talk to an officer and admit to doing something you just made their case for them. If pulled over just give them DL and reg / insurance info only and stay silent. 99 times out of 100 they will let you go or give you a ticket for the probable cause item that gave them the ability to pull you over. Classic intimidation. They pry on the stupid and weak minded.
I stopped by my favorite massage parlor and had a great time recently so it has not stopped anything.
Stay safe and horny!

Imagine if they had that camera in place for a month, or for 8 months. How many famous people roll through there? I can't believe a billionaire is going an AMP in a strip mall with his Superbowl ring on. You could afford the hottest escort in Miami and you roll through an AMP.
As for reiterating talking to the cops. They are interested in one thing, the easiest guys to throw to the courts. They practice for hours and study interrogation methods. You are out of your element and uncomfortable and scared, they are in their element and comfortable. DO NOT SAY ANYTHING. They try different ways to get you to talk, friendly conversation, intimidation, coercion, fear. The only thing you should say is, "I want a lawyer". That's it. Nothing else. The law is set up because you are presumed innocent. Do not throw it away by being dumb or cocky or thinking you are smarter than them. They want you to engage, do not engage. Be quiet and you win, you make it much much harder for them.

Further observation
This whole treasure coast deal has exposed the dangers of AMP visiting. With surveillance you're screwed. I question the tactics to allow surveillance, whether the trafficking was real or. Not, it doesn't matter to the patrons, now you're wanted for arrest and they put your name and face out there.
I'm not going to any AMP soon or maybe ever, it's not worth it. If I were going I'd sure as heck watch for any signs of so called trafficking. Also, I'd sure as heck stay away from any highly reviewed full service places. I'm still amazed at how the big 3 operate the way they do. Certainly don't do any negotiating but that really doesn't seem to matter. If you get caught on video getting a HE you're going to be arrested. It doesn't matter if you just happened to be getting a massage, they'll come after you anyway. I used to assume just don't ask for anything and you'll be fine but reading the arrest report clearly that doesn't hold true.

Performing sexual acts is going to bust you regardless if you were caught exchanging money or not. You paid money to be there, just because the happy ending was advertised doesn't excuse the fact the most people know why they are there.
