ChessGod here from Richmond, Va. There is a 85% chance I will living in Charlotte by Labor-day and 100% chance I will be living there by Christmas. We're working with a realtor now and our budget is around 700-800 k for a condo unit. I'd like to live somewhat close to SW action and about maybe a 20 minute drive to a strip that has run down hotels. Obviously I can't tell the realtor about my hobby. Any help or "areas" I should be looking at?

I'm excited to lose my Charlotte Hobby Virginity soon, any recommendations as to who should take my cherry is appreciated as well. PM me please.

That is a very good budget. . . I would go for Fourth Ward maybe? Close to city center, 4-5 minutes from NODA, 10 minutes from South End, and for hobbying. . . Less than 10 minutes from SC (sugarcreek / I-85 interchange) and the Woodlawn QT which are your two SW hotspots. If nabbing sugarbabies then both South End and NODA are typical meet up spots.

There are only a couple of areas with a little action and you would not want to live near them.

But for fun, ask your realtor what's available on Sugar Creek Rd. Then don't move there. Ask so ask what's on Woodlawn. They might steer you towards Southpark Mall and that's a good area. But no SW action there.
