Reading the shit about the big sweep and seeing just how backwards the police are scares the crap out of me. Not a damn lick of follow up to get these thugs who have ACTIVE ARREST WARRANTS IN PLAY FOR THEIR CRIMES. Yet they, the HPD, have time and MONEY for the vice, which has been notorious for gettin some trim with the ladies at will, waste time on SWs, and neglect the god damn rapists, robbers, and thugs.
Then they wonder why the murder rate in Hartford is up? They wonder why more people turned out to vote in west hartford for a pathetic lowbrow candidate than the good people of Hartford voted for their own strong arm mayor?

I did see what appeared to be a sting with a red head off of maple street on Tuesday night around 12mid. Very interesting, so those who care, take note.
The lady...who looked quite phenomenal, imo...was just standing there. She had short red hair, and a cute face...late 20s, may be mid 30s. Again...just standing there impudent of cops driving near by at a non-bus stop. This alone was a give away. The SWs are constantly moving about. If they are dirt ugly, they can stand and wave all they want. Cops don't care. So I think with the big head that this is worth investigating.
So...I pull up, make solid eye contact and notice she's wearing decent makeup...appropriately done. Quite attractive at a distance of less than 15'. I slowly pull off and stop on a side street within a 10 second walk of her.
As I pull up, I can feel the hairs on the back of my neck rise as I see a van with two guys sitting in front of it, lights off accept a soft, very slight green glow inside...yet the windows are tinted. The van is slightly off the road and not visible from Maple at all. The two guys, who look too damn handsome, are futzing in front of the van trying to look busy. It was cold out, though.
She walks up, nearly surprising me.
LADY: "I'm working...what you need?"
STONER: "Umm...I'm just admiring the nice van in front of me. Pretty cool, huh. Did you need a ride somewhere? I'm on my way to get something to eat. I assumed you walked up cause your stranded or something."

This is now peeking my interest. A real SW wouldn't walk away, right? Some persuasion, some askin, some stallin cause its cold out. No. The guys in the van ahead of me parked are glancing my way occassionally and seemed to not be interested in us in the least. Again...too weird. If I was them, I'd be way obvious in some cute chick talking to some guy staring at them in a car.
I pull off and get to a point and do a loop around. I see the girl goes back to standing right where I saw her last. Get this though...she lifts up her nose at me and turns her head like I stood her up from the prom. I'm blown away. This is too funny.
I cycle off one more time, return to a vantage point to observe for scientific purposes of course. Baby walks up to the guys, hops in the back of the cheap ass van with tinted windows and the three pull off, heading north.
A freakin' sting...trying to snatch johns. I couldn't beleive it. Could I have been wrong? Could she be with them like they are her escorts or something?

Great catch man. It jsut infuriates me that tax dollars are being spent on this. Whenever i hear about the cops doing a sweep of gang hangouts to grab people with outstanding warrents, I always think to myself - that's what they should do instead of their next prostitution sting.
The Hartford Courant today (Friday Nov. 14th) reported a prostitution sting set up in a hotel in Windsor. I can't remember the name but it's one of the nicer hotels, not the dump motel on the Hartford/Windsor line.
The cops rented a room, then called an escort agency that advertised in the back of the Advocate, talked to the guy who answered the phone and arranged for a girl to be sent over. When the girl and her driver (another female) showed up at the hotel, they were both busted. The girls then id'd the guy who answered the phone as the owner of the escort agency, so the cops went and busted him.
The Courant also mentioned that several escorts were plying their trade in Windsor hotels. I'm not sure if this means that the hotels called the cops in? or else the cops were looking for headlines.

Great story, and I think you're right, the redhead was probably not a SW. A real SW would have accepted the offer of a ride, then tried to sweet-talk you into some action while you were riding.
Even on the odd chance that she was really a SW, just a picky one or a stupid one, you still made the right move in acting and saying what you did. As you and I and several others have stated here in the past, if the situation doesn't seem quite right, bail out! There will always be another cutie around the corner sooner or later.
I just met up with two of the girls that worked at alpha. They told me that it should be reopened no later than christmas or new years, and possibly sooner. They are working on it now.

When they came in they did have a list of clients names they were reading off to a couple of the girls, asking if they knew any of them. I can’t imagine there will be repercussions. I think they just wanted to verify the names in case they wanted to interview you for the bigger catch. Maybe as leverage. They did take the computer but that just had first name last initial. Can you get any significant extras at Victorian? I tried it out some years ago and found that it seemed to be just a very expensive HJ (at best) place... 2.50+ / hour
The either do a lot of legit business, or jump thru hoops to make it look like they do. Medical-sounding questionnaire at first visit, encounter started with shower (alone), then foot bath and massage (I was seated wearing a robe they provided), then on to massage table in a small, well-appointed room. One note... they send out lots of direct mail to the address you provide on the questionaire -- I had to write them to ask to be taken off list.
The girl never got naked, although she was dressed like the place provided extras -- quite young (not old enough to have gone to theraputic massage college) moderately skimpy clothes, tight fitting shorts, had tattoos. I've never seen anyone like her in a truly legit place -- the ones there tend to be more crunchy/hippie looking.
During the hour long visit I let my hands wander -- no resistance to caressing her boobs thru her clothes, but wouldn't let me pet the kitty. I finally asked if they offered anything else, and she told me reluctantly that she could offer HJ.
