I go to either JHH, ML or Kyoto at least once per month. I have been to ML only once and JHH twice. I have been to Kyoto more than a dozen times because it is on the way home from work.

There have been a number of girls there in the past year almost all have all been willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible experience. After my first massage from Toni back in February, I always come prepared to have a great time. Sadly toni left. But It's a really great place. My current favorite is Sophie who has been reviewed a bit on this board but not much. She is tiny with fake Cs and a great personality. She talks a lot which I love and often times we skip the massage. She won't to BJs at least for me but everything else is on the menu. I love petites so even though I am missing some things I always go back cause I think she is adorable. I have gotten the full experience from Amy, Suzie, Sunny, Coffee and a floater or two who were only around a month or so. The younger ones never stay long.

I did hear that they had some problems last weak with LE questioning guys in the parking lot but I did not hear about a raid. I think I went there on Monday though so maybe a raid or health inspection happened afterward.

Lastly, One of the prettiest girls there is Jenny who maybe new cause I couldn't find anything about her on this board. She seems to do things a little differently than the rest of the girls there, at least for me. I find her to be a little cold and business like and only willing to do the basic services. She gives the best massage though so I have seen her twice when I really needed a good massage. I was wondering if any amount of repeats would get her to put in the effort her colleagues do.

Going back to ML next week and will do a full review. Really glad I found this site.

But I tip appropriately. I believe in paying for what I get and these girls earn the money and then some. Still, and I would never do this, it's funny to think they sucked off some fat slob for 15 bucks. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when they realized it. I'd laugh my sides out. I always tell the new girls to get their money upfront. I always pay upfront even if they don't ask. It's the right thing to do. We should all stop complaining when they ask for the tip up front. They deserve to know they will get compensated.

If the heat was NOT on Kyoto last week, it is certainly going to be now, since you felt such details were needed.

I have read posts on here that were way more graphic and talked specifically about positions and CIM and all kinds of details at other spas. I simply said what girls won't do an used euphemisms on all but one occasion. I stated I don't have a ton of experience in this hobby. I did read the forum really thoroughly and I don't think I said anything that has not been said before about a spa that has been open and extensively reviewed for over five years on this site. I respect your opinion and followed your suggestion. I appreciate your polite suggestion and would appreciate any further general advice about how to craft posts that are helpful without being hurtful. I think such suggestions would be good for the entire community.

Pootylover[/QUOTE]You have to realize what I can say about one spa where LE is indifferent to what they do, and what I can say about another spa that has frequent visits from LE and have closed for an extended period as a result are NOT THE SAME.

You need to look at the reviews for the SPA and follow the appropriate protocol for that place. If we talk vaugely about one place and openly about another, there is a dam good reason for it.

For the ladies protection, we deliver discreet reviews where we know LE to be a problem. Where LE is not active and has shown on interest in closing places we are a bit more free with the details.

When I first started, after the flip there would be a round of negotiations, Tip paid after an agreement was reached, but before the massage continued.

And then there was a while when the tip was expected to be put on the table when you disrobed: The sudden flow of information via the newly blossomed web having standardized prices enough Negotiation wasn't needed, the amount on the table told the girl what you wanted.

And then there was a period of time when the amount placed upon the table was pocketed, and she provided whatever level of service she felt like (usually low mileage, with a disclaimer "I can't do *that* I'll get fired / arrested").

And then tipping up front fell back into disfavor, prices were well known enough police walked in, provided the correct amount, and since obviously they were OK since they knew the 'secret' rates, they were serviced, resulting in arrests.

After that, I was in one shop when someone in another cubical tried to present the whole amount up front. The provider got very upset, mama-san chased him out, but once spooked, my provider (who had previously come through for me) went 100% legit that night.

For a while recently I was back to negotiating at the flip.

More recently, I was puzzled why I was not finding acceptable service. I read a few posts where people were once again tipping at the beginning of the session and hoping for the best. I've taken my hits in this new economy, and I'm much less able to shrug off a loss when the full tip is collected for minimal service, but I gritted my teeth and have started doing so. So far the results have been pretty good.

I'm further concluding that I now I in addition to being trusting with the tip I need to be prepared - again in the past that wasn't welcomed, to the girls it signaled a setup. They were able to withhold 'preparation' until they were certain you were safe. I've gotten very nice service lately with a upfront tip, but only so much as was safe without forethought. For my next visit, I shall indeed plan ahead, and see where that goes.

The legal environment certainly frames how we negotiate for services we want. I have been sticking to just two spots for the last year or so, for the most part. What I do not get in variety, I do get in services received and comfort level. I am comfortable, and the ladies are comfortable knowing that they will be well treated, compensated appropriately, and we get to know each other over time.

Of course, for most of us variety is the name of the game. It just depends on the overall climate. Unfortunately, DC in the 1990's is over (Alas, alas, alas.) and we have to adjust to the here and now. And that means a certain level of discretion and understatement is required. PM the details, it always works best that way.

Has an article stating that the Howard County Exec. Is pondering a bill to make massage parlor licenses stricter. I would link it but the Sun website doesn't have it yet. I just read it in the paper edition. It then goes through a brief history of the issue in Howard County. Some of the allegations are shocking!

This is a state delegation from Howard County. They are taking these proposals to the state legislature.

Was out looking at fabric swatches the other night. I found what I needed for a reasonable price with expected level of customer service by nice customer service rep. Washed my car nearby after the transaction.

Now I'm all into being discrete and not revealing intel that would attract LEO. Having said that, what does this post add to the Forum? Other than a notch in the belt for the poster.

Just wondering if Dee Dee formerly of Rainbow. 21 Therapy and B&B has shown up anywhere in the area. She left B&B about a year ago and was told she would return. Now they tell me she quit. She usually shows up somewhere in the Baltimore area and was hoping someone would have some info. I have known her for years and would love to see her again. I will greatly appreciate any help. Nice to know that someone got acceptable service from that particular establishment, but it's reasonably well regarded anyway. If you're not going to name the customer service rep so others might benefit, what's the point?

Felt the need for a little therapy last night and headed off to Kyoto. Haven't been here for awhile; last time I felt like I was rushed and shaken down for more money. I was pleasantly surprised with my visit this time. Saw Coffee, got a playful stand-up shower, a massage that was actually therapeutic, and the ending was a HJ that was just the way I like it. Unrushed, teasing, and presented with great attitude. House fee =.7, the tip. 6, total damage = $.3. Yup, I'd see her again.

Have visited on and off over several years with mixed satisfaction. My typical expectation is a good though slightly short hour massage and standard finish. A recent visit brought an masseuse of delightful beauty who says she's been there for years. Somehow, I never saw her there before? Soso to mediocre massage, decent finish but with the bad attitude she can command greater than standard in return. I expect better than standard for that and the poor attitude really does deflate the experience.
