Hey guys I run a car service in Puerto Rico and I figured I might as well give you all the scoop on where the action is, this is the same info I give or show (if they hire me) to my clients when they ask me about the action down here.
Now I have heard many people complain that there is no action in Puerto Rico. This is partually true. The golden age of meeting lovely working girls at an economical price is long gone and all that remains of the famous 100 year old brothel Black Angus is just an empty lot. You can thank members of the goverment who are actually silent partners on the more expensive strip clubs in the Condado area (Divas specifically) who stired up a conservative crack down on the sex industry in Puerto Rico after allot of raids and intimidation all that was left after the dust cleared were only a few choice clubs that were filled with paranoid owners.
But now that we have had a few years to calm down I am happy to report that there are more aternatives to most travelers looking for a alternative to outragouse prices. Allthough it doesnt come close to the heyday of cheap girls at least you wont put a serious hole in your pocket.
One thing I must tell you is DO NOT trust taxi drivers when they say they have the perfect strip club for you. Most clubs pay taxi drivers a fee per person they bring to the club. This ranges from 5 to 25 dollars a taxi driver gets per person they deliver to the club. Saint Tropez and Divaz pay the most to the taxi drivers and for good reason because these are the most over priced strip clubs you could ever got to. Also the strip clubs open at 9pm to 5am plus the massage parlors have different hours I'll post those on this report. Usually all the best action happens at night.
Saint Tropez at one time used to be the premire club, the best of the best but due to strong arm from the police they have gone down in cuality. A cover charge of 10 dollars. Drinks ranging from 5 to 15 dollars. Lap Dances (WITH CLOTHES ON) will set you back 40 dollars. These take place on the sofa of the clubs so any privacy will cost you more with it being topless will set you back 90 dollars and with an optinal champange anything goes room setting you back a whoaping 200 dollars which will you frustrated and unfufilled. The girls are not what they used to be either most of them range from a 6 to a 8 but there are at least a couple of 9 walking around. So unless your the type of person who wants to blow some serious cash avoid this club.
The same can be said for Divas. Even though the quality of women is nearing the elusive 10 everyone has the prices are also fairly ridiculous. 10 standard cover charge with drinks ranging from 5 to 12 dollars. The girls are all model like caliber and give very good preformances which brings us to the other negative Divas has. The bouncers. Most of the bouncers date the strippers or have some kind of weird Big Brother type of mindset. If at any time your hand even comes near a stripper preforming you will feel the preseance of a large gorilla behind you. They also tend to profile focusing on latinos and black custemors so you will have an eye on you as in their eyes you are a potential trouble maker. Girls range from Puertorican, Asian, Dominican, American, ect.
Cheetas is the third club in the San Juan/ Condado Area and like the previous is just as bad. The girls also range from 8 to 10 in quality but unlike in Divas and Saint Tropez where they are friendly these tend to be spoiled and clever. a lap dance they say will cost you 30 dollars is really the oldest scam in the book, they will prociede to dance a few feet away from you and then they charge you another 30 dollars to get to touch you and vice versa. And during all this there is sequirity in the corner watching you with a flashlight in your face. Drinks are also as expensive in Divas and Saint Tropez.
For those of you looking to avoid burning your wallet there are a few alternatives in the strip club scene.
Frenchies is the premire club for locals. Its cheap, safe, and most importantly relatively economical. There are two Frenchies Club the orginal is located in the Hato Rey area of San Juan (also known as the business district) and the other in Santurce. Original is very quaint but a little small. Its very old and it looks it, so don't be scared if it seems to be sleazy that all goes away as you see the girls. The quality tends to fluxuate from 5 to 10, better looking girls tend to show up at midnight. Drinks range from 3 dollars to 8 dollars. Cover Charge of 10 dollars will get you a free drink. Same can be said about the Frenchies located in the Santurce area only that this one is newer and a little bit more flashier. its also spacious. Frenchies is the place to get laid. The standard fee is 160 dollars for one hour. Sex and the standard blow job with a condom, and rarely will a girl kiss you on the lips. But comapred to other clubs that prices range from 200 dollars and up Frenchies is the way to go. The shows also get a little wild with really talented girls. Most of the girls are Puertorican or Dominican.
Desavu is the same are Frenchies just a few blocks up the road from Frenchies 2.
Cab fare is fairly cheap except if your staying at the Hyatt Dorado in which the cheapest car fare will cost you 60 each way. I always recomend to my clients who are looking for an economic transfer to just pay 60 dollars going and if your lucky you can talk a taxi down to 40 dollars coming back. But don't despair because the most economical strip club is right next door.
Mangus is located in the entrance of Dorado, its very low key. Tourist taking a taxi there (30 dollars each way from Dorado Hotels) will only pay 10 dollar cover charge, if you bring your own transpertation the charge will go up 12 dollars. This includes a free drink which range from 2 dollars to 6. Lap dances are only 20 dollars at a lenght per song. Girls range from 6 to 10. they even have a VIP champange room but I don't recomend it because like the song says theres no sex in the champange room (youll get jacked off though). The shows are great and security is not uptight.
Strip clubs are not the only thing Puerto Rico has to offer for adult entertaiment. There are dozens of massage parlors in the San Juan area the best two are Pure Moods and Alternative Masage.
Alternative Massage is probably the best massage parlor in the metropolitan area. its on the Isla Verde strip next to a pizzeria and Bamboo Lounge. The deal is you pay for a massage 40 dollars cash, 45 with credit card. Then you choose your girl (ranging from 7 to 10 American, Puertorican or Dominican) in which you get a very good massage then you are asked if you require "other services" a hand job will cost you around 40 dollars, blow job with a condom 60 and sex 100 dollars. Hours range from 3pm to 11: 00pm (yeah I know) I recomend passing by around 7 or 8 but thats just me.
Pure Moods is located in Condado and has the same prices as Alternative but its mostly Dominican with some puertorican girls and sometimes American. 7am to 3am. The only problem with Pure Moods is that its located right on the principal street, so if you want to be discreet you have a problem. Not to mention the girls usually take naps on the sofa and since their are only 3 girls on at a time you could be waiting out in the street for a little while.
And finally if your looking for ordering in a girl. The best way of doing that is buying The San Juan Star Newspaper (only paper in Puerto Rico in english) and turning to the Personal section. There you will find a listing of everything your looking for. Prices range depends on if your speaking to the individual in question or the one in charge. Sometimes you can negociate.
As for places i would avoid. First i would avoid the local Street Walker scene. Most are transvestites or heroin addicts. Who look like rejects from "thriller" if you want to experiment with the same sex i recomend looking in the personals of the san juan star, at least your have safety. I have to repeat this street walkers in Puerto Rico are like playing rusian roullette with 3 bullets in the chamber. Second i do not recomend Hot Zone, DO NOT go there. Its located in a bad area and it will be astronomical if you find something over 5 there. Most are very ugly prostitues. I only went there once and witnessed two girls fight because one of the girls (which was odly a 7) had left puss on the sofa due to an infected vagina. Needless to say i did not finish my drink. I think Chinese is the best massage, cheapest too. From $40 an hour with $20 to $40 tip. The downside is the masseuse may not offer you HR. You probably will not get BJ or FS.
Korean places usually have the most extras. There are many of these from the Empire State to Central Park. See here, New York Post, or Village Voice (some ads have addresses, some just phones).
