A subject was arrested not based on his own DNA, but during the stabbing there was DNA which was a cousin match and thus they tracked a cousin who had a graduate student relative who was alleged to have committed the stabbing. Despite knowing that his own DNA was not in the federal DNA database, he was still apprehended. Probably all criminals will know light the crime scenes on fire after they left just to be safe.

Thus, criminals should obtain a public newspaper from the library after putting on gloves of course then carry the concealed knife in said paper for disposal at the crime scene which will have all sort of homeless and / or degenerates DNA on same.

No, the model is already out there. Look at legalized marijuana. The taxes, fees, and costs of operating a legal marijuana business drove the user's costs up to levels that were never imaginable pre-legalization. There's no reason to expect anything different if prostitution were legalized. And since a certain element of the mongers out there have embraced the GPS pricing of the past 4-5 years, the market value of a run-of-the-mill experience would likely top 5 bills if we had legalized prostitution. Be careful what you wish for!
