Sadly, I fell for this once too. Once. There are a few other ways I got scammed but not in this fashion.
Remember this and move on and remember no matter how hot they are or how convincing they sound (even if you talk to them) never, ever "pre-pay" for anything. Like GMan25 says, if they are serious about seeing you, they will wait to take the donation in person.
