Hey everyone! I'm a long time lurker and active hobbyist. Thought I'd finally participate with any info I can. Nothing too new to add today, but wanted to get things started.

I pay $20.00 every three months for the service and that also includes 100 minutes. If you renew the service prior to the expiration date the minutes you have roll over and do not expire. You renew the service by purchasing a $20.00 service card and entering the PIN into the phone. The phone displays the service end day so there is no surprise or guessing. You can get the phone and the cards to add minutes and service at your local Dollar General Store.

Then you only need about ten minutes of Internet privacy to set it up. I keep it under a drawer at work and off when it isn't needed. I tend to see someone about once a month and put about three months on the phone at a time.

I believe tracfone is the only carrier that doesn't require registration.

You can buy different phones for the service and some come with triple minutes for the life of the phone.
