Other agencies don't mention it, and in those cases it's usually expected the girl does it for free. I'm at the same point. Unless one of my favs at LA or Elite returns, I'm going to continue to play low end. Cheaper and honestly the girls are just as good. I have an update to this PSA about credit reports. It's nothing to fear, every American has this and it does more good than harm when you realize how much dumber it is in other countries.

So I open up credit cards every few years to take advantage of their rewards promos, like 80K miles or $500 to $800 cash back. That's one or two whole sessions plus upcharge worth. These offers only apply if you have very good credit, they won't approve it otherwise. There's also a cooldown where you can't spam too many offers within a few years. I've done it many times over 20 years, earning back maybe $3K in "free money" since I qualify for their conditions. $5K if you include bank offers which are much less attractive (you have to deposit a large sum for X months, often not even worth it vs S&P 500).

So everything is great, and then a month after my latest card begins they send me a "privacy options" letter. To sum it up, right away it says "You can choose whether or not we are allowed to share your info with other affiliated companies" aka 100 other businesses who will spam you with offers. [B]By default[/B], if you do not reply to this letter, they will! This is exactly what I meant when I said you agreed to share all this info without realizing it. Not just to your credit report, but internally with other companies that no one can see or access. But it's obvious when all these offers arrive in the mail. It's even more obvious if you decide to add a middle initial and suddenly for the next few months and years offers come in using that middle initial. So just FYI that this is not the government, they are fucking lazy. This is your credit report and every company you had financial dealings with. Same thing with your rewards membership at the supermarket and other places, I use a fake name there and then watch the ads come in with that name. Certain kind of internal sharing is completely legal, and you even gave them that permission if you read the fine print. But most people don't read that or remember. Cool, just FYI.

It's nothing to worry about. Fear, FOMO, and gatekeeping are always the real enemies in this hobby. If you want to be afraid of one thing, it's of a car accident.
