Thanks to both who responded. Good ideas to minimize footprint and use a zip lock or one of their bags. I guess I'll leave the laptop at home. I'm running out of excuses to not visit an AMP.

At the very least I would suggest NOT taking a wallet into a place one is unsure about. Just take the cash needed to get the job done and a car key, hotel room key and leave the rest behind. I'm in town a time or 2 a month for work. Paris Spa is in walking distance of my hotel. Half the places listed on rubmaps in ChinaTown are super hard to find, because they have no signs. If in an urban area, there were plenty of pretty girl pictures posted, some in sexy poses wearing nearly nothing. Near airports seemed to have a high percentage of girls in sexy poses.
