I suspect a lot of it is business uncertainty*, logistics delivery (food / necessities), entertainment (they have off days and need to unwind), and language barrier (only Korean).

The problem is logistics. In PDX area, I think you can't support more than a few gals at a time. Whereas in SoCal, you can support dozens. That makes the other logistics more expensive (e.
