You claim to have been reading for a while here, yet you had to ask what Heyrupert meant by the flames?

I am truly not trying to be a "pompous asshole," I'm sincerely trying to help you (and others) understand.

You are correct that this is a forum. However, many of the members here feel that this [B][I]forum [/I][/B]is not for asking of questions (per se) or chit chat as much as for the pure purpose of sharing information about Providers or the Hobby. Now having said that, I believe questions are a natural part of the sharing of information.

The difference in this case is that the "pompous assholes" and many of the other members here expect [B][I]all [/I][/B]members (new and old) to have some idea of what they are doing and to do at least [B][I]some [/I][/B]of the work themselves. They feel (and I believe rightfully so) that if others are going to post their valuable information, free for anyone who wants to view it, that the members wanting to have that information do their own research instead of asking for it to be handed to them on a silver platter. In many cases, the information has already been posted and is readily available. All you have to do is search for it and then read the forum to get the information.

The problems and turmoil occur when someone asks "Any reviews or recommendations?" about a Provider and the current members [B][I]know [/I][/B]that the information has already been posted. Then, the person who asks the question comes off as an inexperienced or lazy "newbie" who can't search the forum [B][I]first [/I][/B]before asking such an "idiotic" question. And then the flaming begins.

What I am trying to say is that [B][I]before [/I][/B]anyone asks "Any reviews or recommendations?" about a Provider, they should first search the forum for any past information themselves. Search some of the other sites that are available (I*dys dot com or e dot com or others), do some Google searches, or TinEye searches on pictures. If you still cannot find anything after doing that. Submit a post that says who you are looking for information about, where you have searched and any information you have found, and [B]then [/B]ask if anyone has any additional information. If you can show that you have tried to do the work yourself, others will be more likely to assist you instead of flaming you.

Nkykinkyguy tried to point you in the right direction by saying that Hotsquirt has been reviewed here several times and that you should search for some of the recent posts about her. If you still did not have enough information, he suggested that you PM the authors of those posts for more detailed information. He has it completely correct.

If you or anyone has any questions about searching USASG, please ask me. I have already posted the best way to use the USASG search engine, but I will be happy to repeat those instructions for anyone who wants to learn.

I applaud you for admitting that you searched the forum for information! My advice to you would be to PM the member(s) who posted the past reviews for more detailed information. Many members here do not post explicit reviews for many reasons (safety for themselves or the Provider, discretion, were asked not to, etc.). Consequently, PM's are often the preferred method for obtaining that type of detailed information.

Now having been one of Stormy's Clients, I will tell you on the open forum that she [B][I]is [/I][/B]legit. I believe some of my (an other member's) posts probably [B][I]do [/I][/B]have some more detail about her menu if you search back far enough, but I would suggest you just PM me for more information. The few comments you do find will be few and far between and not reliable because the commentators have no history / credibility themselves. This forum is solely the domain of Jackson, I see no reason for certain individuals to attempt to turn the Cincinnati boards into their own little fiefdom. As always this is just my opinion.
