All bars were ordered closed. They will reopen when the Governor says so. Some businesses are going to reopen this week, but bars are not on the list. I doubt they care what kind of bar it is. They could shut these places down any time they want, but they never do. They want the revenue from liquor sales.
Thanks Connecticut Guy. I am frds with Little Mama. She was working at Keystone before the pandemic hit. She said she doesn't know when for sure when they will open up too. I will let you all know if I hear anything.

They sit people in outdoor seating at a distance and limit the number of customers at a time.
Now PM does have that smoking area. If they were totally shameless, they could probably open. Let 2 or 3 customers in say a time, show a lineup and take them to that smoking enclosure. Everybody has to do their business in plain view of eachother like at Harry's and some ND clubs.

Door fees, dancer fees. How many dancers or customers are going to even show up for that. Plus they would have to navigate the legality of even being allowed to serve drinks outside.

Prohibition. Except as permitted in subsection C of this section, the drinking of any open container of alcoholic liquor is prohibited upon or within a public area or public highway or public transit within the city.

Bars will be able to open July 20th so it will be interesting to see how they try to navigate through this. I myself am not in huge hurry to head back with this going on. Pains me to say and it's killing me (don't know what you've got 'till it's gone) but picture a packed PM on a weekend night and the activities going on it's the perfect storm for this virus. I'll never take having places like PM for granted ever again. I don't know how the state would attempt to regulate lap dancing.

The catch is patrons can only buy alcohol for consumption at outdoor restaurants if purchased with hot food. In other words, no sitting in a restaurant simply to drink. I am an officer in a private club that had to find a way to serve hot food to reopen our club.
Here's an establishment in Bridgeport that is currently serving booze outside: http://www.captainscoveseaport.com/restaurant-bar.
