I am on friendly terms with the owners of Balanced Health Care and would like to offer my perspective on the place. Apparently there was an arrest at one of the Buford Hi. area foot spa places a week or so ago. All of the spa owners are being extra careful. The owners of BHC figured out that some of their therapists were freelancing. They do not want trouble and are making an effort to keep things legitimate. It's still a great value and a good place to get a massage, but I wouldn't expect a lot more than that.
Let me express a personal opinion. If one of us is lucky enough to find special treatment at a legitimate massage place, I believe that the LAST thing we should do is to post about it on an open forum. Think about it a minute. These services will be offered ONLY if the therapist can stay under the radar. Posting about it in a public forum is the quickest way to get the therapist in trouble or the massage place in hot water. This is the kind of info that should be passed ONLY thru IM to trusted members.
Of course, the Asian Massage Parlors like Royal or Ocean are another matter entirely. Everyone--LE especially--already knows what goes on in those places. They are open game.

Foot massages are the fuckin' SHIT, though.
Just sayin'.
Here Here Here I concur boycott them along with Gold..they had the nerve to post their add on craiglist with the Asian Model thing like other spas!!!!

I agree with you!! Some people here just don't understand this.

Very well said. I hope I personally haven't contributed to their woes. You are absolutely right, we all need to keep the good stuff under the radar. Again, excellent commentary!

Excellent post. Thank you. I went over there today, and god knows where I ended up -- some place called, "Royal Foot Massage" (which I thought was the Royal). I got one hell of a massage and was told I was "strong like-a polee-cee (police). I hadn't heard about the bust, and they were extra cautious.

Already we dont list address or phone number here. If someone want to bust, they will use the sites other than this site. All i am saying is lets be discreet - but dont stop sharing. Because thats how can find good from

I realize that this board exists to share information. I just asked that we keep mum about extra services discovered at the therapeutic massage places. These places get checked out continually by LE, especially in the Buford Hi. area. Most of them are completely legit but they are monitored. Owners of at least 2 shops have told me this. If there is a firestorm of posts about a place, we've put them on the radar screen. Some of the posts even identify the therapist by name. But if you all want to draw LE monitoring, get some girls in trouble, and create a tense atmosphere in all the spas--ok, sure, go ahead and post away.
I'm not going to start some sort of thread war. I've said my piece and will shut up now.

Those places suck, as far as legitimate massage establishments go. Cheap ass massage table behind a thin curtain, weird food smells permeating the air, women blabbering away at the top of their voices while you're trying to relax...not exactly a therapeutic atmosphere. They can get shut the hell down for all I care. Too much of a crapshoot to worry about trying to preserve by not sharing info. Either get me off or create a REAL atmosphere in which I can get a massage. Besides, I think the owners telling you about how the girls are just freelancing without their blessing is bullshit.
I am on friendly terms with the people at BHC as well. If you read back a while in the forum, I first posted about this place 3 or 4 months ago. I was just there again Sunday afternoon and as always, got a great massage and HE. I always get a HE. While they do offer great massage, this place has never been strictly legit. There is only one therapist there who never offered extras, and I think she would have if I saw her a second time.
No one there tries to hide it. I routinely get BBBJ w/CIM and HJ along with a great massage for only. 6 (40 + 20 tip). I thought the purpose of this forum was to share info on good deals. To me this place is a great deal, if you are not to concerned about privacy. Privacy can often be dictated by the time you go.
But let's be honest. The people at BHC are nice, and give great massage, but it has never been strictly legit, and I assume never will be, especialy for established customers.

We need to be more discreet while sharing AMP info. Looks like independent ones are not that much targetted. Thats why the other sites which list them, even with contact info, not seem to affect those indepedent ones. Thats my guess. Others can correct if I am wrong.
A week ago I saw Kristina from Pura Vida Massage. I found her on the theraputic section of Craigslist. She had a pic of oher on there along with pictures on her ******* page that looked like she was indication she gave more than just a massage. However, when I saw her, all she gave was just massage. While she was giving me my massage though, she started laughing at me because she noticed how I kept repositioning "junior" down there. It was weird. Anyway, just stay away from Kristina and Pura Vida Massage.

Can you recommend any good, legit massage places for a reasonable price?
